"Just got back from a stay at Hotel Excelsior in the Dolomites and honestly, it was perfect. The sauna area was really nice and relaxing after a day out exploring. Food was excellent across the board, from the breakfast spread to the salad buffet at dinner. They’ve got a solid wine list, great coffee, and every meal came with a view that made you want to linger a little longer. The staff were super friendly and made everything feel easy and relaxed. Lucia gave us an amazing hike recommendation that turned out to be the highlight of the trip — the surrounding nature is absolutely stunning in October (insane fall colours!) and perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors. And the view from the pool? Maybe the best I’ve ever seen. Couldn’t recommend it more."
"My wife and I spend a week here for hiking and sight-seeing. This hotel was absolutely perfect. Great rooms with amazing views, wonderful food, fantastic staff, and a great location. It was quiet, clean, and friendly. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Every morning at breakfast, they'd recommend a hike for the day. I'd strongly recommend their restaurant for dinner every day. We didn't even get to use the free mountain bikes. Honestly can't say enough about how happy we were to be there every single day of our vacation."
"Our summertime stay in this spacious, immaculate villa was delightful. It had mountain views from all angles, a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces where our three-generation family could gather for meals or be apart. The location, right at the edge of the Fanes-Braies preserve, across from the bus and near bakery, groceries and excellent restaurants, was ideal. An issue with the coffee maker was quickly resolved by Jutta. It was fabulous to return to this place after hikes in the beautiful Dolomites. "
"Amazing setting, very spacious room with a great view. Robert Tamers and brother are fantastic hosts, so kind. Only complaint is check-out time, 9:00am, ouch."
"Amazing property, newly renovated with fully equipped kitchen for our room. There is also a wellness area with infrared and steam saunas, with outdoor heated pool and hot tub after a long day on the mountain slopes. "
