A traditional Spanish, rustic property with fantastic outdoor space. A little tired in places but with character and charm. The town and shops are approx 10 minutes walk away, with a range of bars and eateries. This is a typical Spanish town and they don’t really cater for tourists like they do on the coast. The village and scenery is just stunning. We hired a car and could get to the coast in about 40 minutes. Try Maria’s Bar for food and drinks, it’s English owned and the only English bar we came across. A big issue for us was the lack of aircon, we had no idea how hot it would be inland, plus we were there during a heatwave and it never went under 30 degrees, even at night. There are plenty of fans but it’s not the same. The plunge pool was bigger than expected and much needed in the heat. As the last review mentions, the blue paint on the insides of the pool is peeling off quite badly, so the water is full of flakes of paint. It didn’t stop us using it though. All in all, we had a lovely break and would return. Great communication from the owner and the food welcome pack was much appreciated after arriving late at night. Thank you for having us.
