"We loved staying here with a deck looking out to the sea.Comfortable beds and all the comforts of home with local wildlife as an added attraction. Will miss the little wallabies that greeted us when we arrived.The driveway was a bit of a challenge for our hire car, but everything else was fantastic."

"Fabulous cozy comfort immersed within insitue wilderness and rocky coastline.Large windows were a treat for morning pink sunrise views across bay from bedroom and golden sun drenched sunset drinks after long day of fantastic hikes and sightseeing on both islands. The warmth from the easy starting wood heater melted our tired muscles into comfy chairs with drinks in hand to enjoy the views and occasional blustery stormy afternoon sunset. Perfect location, great views

"A glorious spot on Bruny overlooking D'Entrecasteaux Channel. Fabulous for sunset. The Bruny Lodge was perfect for our two night stay. Pub is close by for great meals. The accommodation was clean and very quiet. Would highly recommend "

A beautifully maintained house right on the beach

"The house is perfect for couples or large groups, with a well stocked kitchen, heaps of toiletries, comfy lounge chairs and a huge dining table. The two patios offer relaxed dining or sipping wine, both with views. This is the first time we have taken our deaf cattle dog on holidays, and it was perfect for him (as advertised). The back yard was securely fenced, and we could run him up and down the beach and indulge his passion for swimming. At night the only noise was the waves... sublime. The hostess has thought of everything. Many thanks."

"This is the second stay our team has had at the Lune Mill River House in a stunning location. Our comments from the previous review still applies, but in short - prepare for an old draughty house on the river side. Bring sleeping bags if you are sensitive to the cold. We set our expectations accordingly, and had a wonderful stay. All team members were very satisfied with the accommodation and would book again. Note: any location this remote is subject to power outages. We have not encountered this during our two stays, but we prepared for this by bringing our own portable 240V power station."
