Great location to explore this area of Northumberland. Cottage was spacious for the two of us, very quiet and clean. All facilities were excellent, and Tony and Angela responded promptly and positively to any question.

Quiet and peaceful...

Lovely clean and cozy cottage in a great spot to explore the nearby beaches and seaside villages. Many attractions to visit and a nice pub across the road for good food. We had a beautiful stay.

Fabulous cottage in attractive location

We were very impressed with this cosy and attractive cottage that offers everything you could want for a stay in Northumberland. It’s a great base for exploring the area. The bottle of wine and fresh milk on arrival were very welcome and the kitchen cupboards were well stocked with basics such as cooking oil. Highly recommended.

Great location.

Pleasant quiet cottage in a fabulous location for enjoying the Northumberland coast. Good comms with Tony and directions were spot on. The cottage is lighter than the photos suggest and whilst recognising beds are very personal this one did have a bit of a sag in the middle. Overall facilities were good and welcome treat was appreciated after the drive.

Lovely cottage

This is a great cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage has everything you need and the owners are brilliant and very responsive. The cottage is close to stunning beaches and castles. It is 10 minutes from both Craster and Alnwick. Lindisfarne/Holy Island is less than 30 mins away. I wouldn't hesitate to come back. I strongly recommend you stay at this beautiful cottage.

Fantastic stay at Rennington

Tony and Angela were brilliant hosts being very quick to respond to any questions we had. The cottage was furnished to a very high standard with all that we needed for a week's stay and having lots of space to relax in. Parking was easy with plenty of space. It has its own garden although we did not make use of it as our stay was in February. The location was perfect for both beach walks and excursions further afield, it is a great base to explore Northumberland from. The village was lovely and quiet plus having an excellent village pub just across the road was the icing on the cake. We wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay there. Stone cottage was nestled away in a beautiful village… just as described and exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully presented, clean, fresh and the ambience felt very welcoming. There was good parking and easy access to the property, with a separate secluded garden ideal for alfresco dining and an afternoon drink. Loved the log fire. The owners ensured that access information was sent well in advance of the arrival date and made email contact a couple of times from booking to arrival - this again was a lovely feature which made us feel special. On arrival there was a beautiful welcoming pack of food and treats … thoughtful and a lovely gesture. The location in Rennington was ideal for Alnwick Castle, Lindisfarne, Bamburgh castle and surrounding areas. We had the most amazing visit to this property and were very sad to leave. Would recommend and can’t wait to schedule in another visit. Thankyou Tony and Angela ❤️❤️

Gemütlicher Ruhepol

Schöner ruhiger Ort, genau das, was man nach einem ereignisreichen Tag benötigt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Kleiner Tip: Sehr gut essen kann man im direkt gegenüberliegendem "Horseshoes".

Stone cottage

Wonderful cottage, warm and inviting. Provisions left by the owner were very much appreciated after a long drive and challenges with the hire car. We would highly recommend this property for anyone wishing for a peaceful spot in Northumberland .

cosy and peaceful - lovely cottage

The listing for this property was accurate - it is in a very small village, and was very quiet and comfortable. The host had left treats for us on arrival, which were very welcome -touches like fresh flowers meant it felt like we were valued guests. It was also very helpful - we'd forgotten to pick up any milk etc on the way, and no shops in the village meant we would have had to go back in the car. It's a lovely area, easy to get to Alnwick, Bamburgh, Craster and other great places to visit. You do however need a car - as mentioned on the listing. Pre-arrival communication was great, very clear instructions, so no problems getting access to this lovely, relaxing cottage. We really enjoyed our stay here - Thanks!

Fantastic base for exploring

This was a lovely, cosy cottage perfectly situated to explore countryside and coast. It had everything we needed with the benefit of a lovely cottage garden where we enjoyed the sunshine after a day out. The hosts were great and provided lots of information about the local area and the cottage was set up for all of your self catering needs. We had a fantastic stay and just fell in love with the area. Would definitely return and would to recommend to others.

Rennington cottage

Lovely cottage. 2 nd time here. Great position in quiet village with local pub nearby. Has well kept garden to sit out in. . Ideal for exploring beautiful coastal villages. Good for birds, walking , trips to Lindisfarne. We enjoyed our holiday very much.
