Modern "Tiny Home" Style Cabin on Taylor River with Private Fishing Access

Beaded Little Mayfly (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.)
**We regret to inform you that shared hot tubs will be closed down permanently. Private hot tubs remain open.**
Cabins 57-67 are identical styles. These deluxe tiny home “mountain chalets” on the Taylor River offer all the amenities of a cabin in a modern and compact package. They are perfect cabins for families. The best feature is that you are literally steps away from the river. The cabin has a private bedroom downstairs and a low ceiling (4 feet high) sleeping loft upstairs with mattresses on the floor. Kids love to have their own space to crawl around up here. If anyone is very big or tall, these may not be the best cabin choice. *Note of caution for small children: the steps going up to the loft are steep and narrow and could present a falling hazard. The railing in the upper sleeping loft is high but a small child could potentially climb over, presenting a dangerous falling hazard. If you have small children, a gate for the loft stairwell is recommended.
• Approximately 400 square feet
• The bedroom has a Queen size bed and the loft has 2 double mattresses on the floor
• Full size sofa in living room (not a hide-a-bed)
• Covered open deck with patio table/chairs and riverside picnic table with fire pit and charcoal grill
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, hairdryer, shampoo and toiletries
• Parking is very tight in these cabins and is limited to 2 vehicles per unit or a vehicle and small trailer (not longer than a full size pick-up truck) unhitched and parked side by side with the vehicle. Additional vehicles and longer trailers may require parking separate from the cabin and fees may apply.
• All Three Rivers Resort guests have access to private fishing on the Taylor River bordering the resort property.
**For VRBO guests, please refer to your reservation confirmation sent to your email after booking for check-in and unit details. We operate like a hotel with a front desk.**
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 4 people. Maximum occupancy is 4. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time. For exact rates, enter your trip dates in the availability search.
**If online search results produce a limited listing of available units for your dates, please call us as availability can change quickly. For one night only or arrival within the next 2 days, you must contact the office directly.**

Almont Cabin
Cute little place with access to a small river behind the cabins. The kitchen is functional, but doesn’t have any spices or a cutting board, so if you plan on cooking, bring those! Main bedroom is cozy and upstairs could sleep two little ones, but is very tiny for adults. Overall: 4/5. About 25 min drive to Crested butte resort

Excellent stay!
Three Rivers is exactly what we were looking for, and it was clean and quiet - just what we wanted for our weekend of Nordic skiing and snowshoeing! We will be back!

Good location, not a "cabin" like described, more a plastic trailer, recommend avoiding this one
First, the good. Location is great, right on river. It was also clean when we arrived. Thats were the good stops. Now the bad, it is not a cozy cabin mountain chalet as they described in the listing. It is a straight up trailer with fake wood on outside. The entire thing is made of plastic with zero space on the inside to do anything as a group, it is extremely tight. It really feels flimsy and cheap. A senior citizen would not be able to access the loft due to the stairs being too sharp of grade The plastic walls are paper thin so you can even hear people/car doors slamming outside. I would't have rented if they actually described what it was. Don't expect any privacy here with the noise. I wouldn't recommend this to families, couples or really anybody actually seeking a true mountain cabin experience. I would recommend this to people on a budget solely looking for a crash pad to sleep, but beware, they may try to charge you a $250 smoking fee if they "know they smell something" like they did to us. Quote the property manager, "although we have zero evidence, we had two different peoples sniffers verify what you did" My wife and I absolutely never smoked marijuana inside this trailer like they accused us of. Just renter beware, avoid this one and look elsewhere

Perfect getaway
This place is awesome. Quiet, a bit secluded. But you get your own personal home for a bit. Very nice people every time I’ve stayed. Love this place. Maybe next time I’ll try fly fishing, if rafting!👍

Cabin 67 the Little Mayfly was the best spot on the river for the views and fishing! Campfire at night was so enjoyable! Friendly staff also!

Nice tiny home cabin
Very nice location by the Taylor River and more spacious inside than we expected. Enjoyed dinner at the restaurant twice. All staff were great. The only downside of the cabin was the bed. It was very hard and made for painful mornings. A hot tub would have helped but the one that used to be accessible for our row of cabins was unfortunately closed. It would be great to reopen that. We also ended up deciding to fish elsewhere due too many people at the boat house ramp. I don’t believe everyone was staying at the resort. It would be nice to have that whole area of cabins gated to ensure only those who paid to stay there can access they may section of the river.
