It was a nice place I enjoyed no Wi-Fi but it was hard to enjoy just satellite tv. I wanted to watch Netflix and other movie apps. The hall bathroom doesn’t drain well at all and the water doesnt get real hot in that bathroom. The master bathroom had great water pressure, very hot water and drainage was good. The dishes were all filthy!!!!! Pictures below and also A ROACH WAS CRAWLING ON THE BED AS SOON AS WE TOOK OUR LOOK AROUND. The bed in the loft was dipping in the middle very uncomfortable. The master bed was uncomfortable as well. The floors had a film on them had to wear house shoes or flip flops. Also not enough light outside at nighttime maybe some bulbs went out or just not enough set up, but other than that it was a beautiful view and a beautiful home.

The location was perfect, easy access to area attractions, but also private. The house was spotlessly clean. The hot tube and deck area was so nice, with a beautiful view of the mountains. Some suggestion to improve comfort: a better bed in the master bedroom, I’m not sure I have even slept, or tried to sleep, on a harder mattress, this is top priority as a traveler. Directions on how to use the fireplace in the living room. Supply firewood for the outdoor fireplace. Beach towels for the hot tub use. An updated coffee pot would be nice. Im not sure I would rent this property again because of the bed being so uncomfortable.

What a beautiful house and location!! Our trip was absolutely perfect from beginning to end! The hosts were just amazing, they communicated quickly and were so friendly and helpful. The view from the back deck is unbelievable. We enjoyed all of the scenery, hiking, fishing and shopping. Don’t hesitate! Book this place!

Wonderful Mountain Getaway!

Our family of 4 (mom, dad, two teens 14-15) had a great stay at the "Birdsnest". The mountain views were great and a wonderful backdrop for breakfast, lunch or dinner and sitting in the hot tub.Everything went smoothly overall, no major complaints. Day 1, the fridge wasn't that cold, but after about 24hrs at the coldest setting, it had cooled down properly. The house was generally clean, however it felt as if the floors could have used a bit more attention in the living room, specifically the area rug in front of the couch.The furniture was comfortable, as were the beds. The kids shared the loft area, but did not use the pull out couch up there, instead sharing the queen bed. The king bed in the master was comfortable. Hot water was sufficient for 4 showers after a day of activities. We went hiking at Tsali trails and paddleboarded in Lake Fontana. We rented tubes and went tubing on Deep Creek. We also ziplined, rafted, and rented "duckies" a the Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC). We had a great time as family without the distraction of WiFi (there is none) and extremely limited cell service (1 bar on AT&T - calls and texts could be made, but sending pictures or using data was very slow and spotty.)We spent about 4 of our evenings after dinner building the 999 piece puzzle - there is 1 piece missing!Note - the road/driveway up to the house is STEEP. If you're going there at a time that might see snow/ice, you need 4-wheel drive and maybe even chains.

Beautiful get away

Went up to visit my boyfriend and his mom while they are hiking the Appalachian trail. Great little spot to unwind and relax with an amazing view of the mountains.

Visit to Birds Nest

We were pleased with our lodging at Birds Nest. We couldn't get enough of the deck with the fabulous view. The house was very comfortable and suited our needs just fine. This was a wonderful place to stay and explore the western NC region.

Best time ever!

This property is immaculate and the views… there are no words. The pictures we took are worthy of a magazine. I will be framing some of them. We are planning another trip to this cabin and town in the fall. Cannot wait.. my highest recommendation!!

Cool Cabin but No Wifi

It was great I celebrated my birthday and started a new job .never was able to speak with anyone before or afterwards . Wasn't much to watch on TV and couldn't watch on my tablet bc no wifi other than that it was nice and peaceful

This cabin was super clean and situated in a nice secluded area. The management company was very responsive and thorough. We would definitely go back there.

Magnificent

This place was to die for. There was spotless and had every thing that we needed the hot tub on the deck was fun, as well as the fire pit. And they view, OMG! Wonderful time!

Vacation

We enjoyed our visit and this is a very nice house. Be sure to notice that both bathrooms are downstairs. The location was beautiful but we barely had any cell service there and the lack of Wi-Fi made that awful. If no Wi-Fi is an issue for you then you will enjoy this place.

Beautiful cabin in the Smokys

My family and I spent a week at this caving. Although it did rain almost every day. We still got out to enjoy Bryson City and Cherokee. The cabin has everything needed and grocery store is only 17mins away. The one way rd up to the cabin does have some pull offs to let other by. The beds were comfy and the loft was a great view to wake up to. Start the coffee and sit on the deck and watch the clouds go by. No wifi and that’s was nice.

Place is perfect

The place is awesome and is away from the heavy traffic but not far from everything. We slept comfortably and the cabin is amazing, I would like to buy it actually ha. The view is fantastic as well from the porch. My kids loved it and enjoyed being that close to the public access to the lake. Rather than drive into the tourist cities that are close to the cabin including a nice scenic drive to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge they said they had the best time at the lake. All around a good time and great place.

Weekend getaway done right

We LOVED this property. It is perfectly secluded yet not too far from sights/attractions/stores. The view was amazing. We spent a whole afternoon on the porch taking it all in. We used the fire pit to warm ourselves while we star gazed then treated ourselves to music and time in the jacuzzi. My boyfriend cooked our meals each night and we were so happy with the amount/variety of cookware. This was our weekend getaway to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and we could not have chosen a more beautiful home than this one. Thank you Yellow rose realty for the care you have put into this home!!!

Spectacular!!

What an awesome hideaway in the mountains. We spent 3 nights in late December and the weather was perfect. I’ve done 20 VRBO’s in the last 3 or 4 years this is by far the best bargain and ranks right up there with much more expensive Oceanside places we have rented. Gatlinburg is a must what a crazy town. Bottom line is it was awesome!!
