「A really pleasant stay overall. The room was generously sized, clean and well presented, and breakfast was a good spread to set you up for the day. Finding the entrance on arrival was a little tricky, though that's more a familiarity thing than a reflection on the place itself. Would happily return and recommend.」

「The room did the job - but numerous issues. Missing some basic necessities like a bedside light. Had to use the public wifi from the bar downstairs which was choppy at best. The problems started right from the beginning. Check in according to the website was 10:00pm. But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. I was on a train so unable to get there for that time, and somebody very kindly stayed to let me in, but they still...

「The hotel is a great boutique hotel. The staff at Morgans Hotel, running the property, are amongst the best I've encountered. Everyone is helpful, patient, and takes great care of guests. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of chouces. The amenities are top-notch: Molton Brown, great bathrobes. Though many would say it is pricey, I think the combination of location, luxury, and their fantastic staff, make it a bargain.」

「I am sorry to say that the property was not what I expected. The area to park in was chaotic with cars parked all over the place so when I arrived after a traumatic journey, I was trying to find a place to park in the pitch black with no lights apart from my car lights. The room was not hoovered. The ‘kitchenette’ was dangerous due to the curtains being close to the air fryer. The toilet seat was loose, broken. There was barely a hello from the owner and he watched as I struggled in the rain...

「Great hotel in the heart of the town. The food is excellent, staff warm and friendly, and the parking gated and secure. We love this part of Wales and always try to stay here if vsiting.」

「Lovely big, clean room with a sofa, table, chairs, huge bed and a gorgeous view. Loads of parking and a nice garden to enjoy. All the staff were very friendly, efficient and very helpful. The evening meal, Chicken Supreme, was fantastic and so was the breakfast (porridge with blueberry compote). I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and can't wait to stay again.」

Grounds have some interesting photo opportunities for weddings but disjointed and tacky for any other time.」
