We would highly recommend the Ferncliff cabins!!! We stayed in the Kozy cabin and it was awesome!! Real fireplace (bring your own wood, matches and paper), comfy beds, full kitchen, dining room and super clean!!!
Loved our stay at the Blue Spruce Cabin! Cozy, clean, and tucked in a peaceful wooded setting—perfect for a quiet mountain escape! Great location near Estes Park and hiking trails. The cabin had everything we needed, and the hosts were great. Highly recommend!
Perfect location with great views as you leave the property and head towards Estes Park. Cute with all the necessities and extras. The bathroom has a beautiful design. I would recommend new bath towels as all of them had bleach spots but otherwise everything was great!
Absolutely amazing stay. The hotel was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones we have ever stayed in. The steam shower was amazing and perfect after long hiking days. Highly recommend and we will be back again.
This cabin was so cute and well renovated! The kitchen had everything a sort stay required and the bathroom was a special luxury treat. We loved the fireplace!
This was such a great option to stay! Great location, close enough drive to the Rocky Mt National Park but far enough way you get some peace and quiet. Beautiful drive and area. Was very comfortable & clean! Will definitely be staying again in the future!
The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Great location within easy driving distance to Rocky Mountain NP. Recommend buying groceries before arriving as the store across the road is ridiculously expensive. Only issue was not enough outdoor furniture for our group of four. Would stay again if in the area.
Quiet mountain cabin. We were prepared with food and drinks. The few stores nearby were not dependable with their hours. Be prepared. Would definitely recommend
Clean room. Nice shower. It was a nice cozy cottage.
The walls are super thin, and every guest can hear what is going on in any other room. Just simple conversations at speaking level can be heard. The property is nice and it is in a beautiful mountain area. Close proximity to the Nat'l Park and the Nat'l Forest, so if you are outdoorsy like us you can find a lot to do outdoors.
Here is the biggest issue: There is nowhere to eat around here. Don't rely on Google to let you know what is open around there. Since we were there in January, maybe everything was closed for the season, but there is nothing to indicate that. The nearby pizza place looks to be closed up and for sale. The nearby café looks to be closed for an expected long period of time. The grill across the street is open like 3 hours a day, for lunch. So if you want to eat out for breakfast or dinner, you're going to have to drive the 20-30 minutes down to Estes Park. Very inconvenient, and you'd better hope the roads are clear and dry or it might be dangerous too. Again, the cottage was decent (Mount Meeker room), but the surrounding area leaves no conveniences.
Room is great, shower is the best!
But could have a little more structure in the small kitchen as all the meals are down there - a support table, aluminum foil, paper towel, a sponge for the dishes.
This place was perfect for what we needed! It is tucked away surrounded by the beauty of the area. Comfortable full beds, sitting couch, wonderful shower that doubles as a steam room. There is a gas station/convenience store across the street, burger place too. A little up the road in a "hole in the wall" cafe that was recommended to us for breakfast, and it was great! This place was situation perfectly between Estes Park and Lyons. We will definitely be back again whenever we get back to the area to visit.
Great location if you are interested in being remote and away from the touristy area. The amenities provided are great! The room and facility are clean and comfortable and the steam shower plus community hot tub helps after a long day of hiking.
The bed was very soft, comfortable for us.
We would have liked a door or window with a screen to let in cool night air, while keeping bugs out. The windows do not open, so the only way to let outside air in was by propping open the front or back door, neither of which had a screen door. There was A/C but we did not want to use it, since it was in the 50s or 40s at night.
Other than that it was great.
Very cozy. Perfect for that little mountain getaway.
Short drive from Estes Park and the drive is absolutely stunning.
The steam shower felt AMAZING after walking around in the snowy mountains all day.
The kitchenette is adorable and perfect for quick meals.
Rooms are very clean. The rooms come with little fans and heaters so my husband and I slept so comfortably.
Everything about this stay was great. Management reached out and made it easy for us to find, and they even gave us some recommendations for hiking in the area. Everything was clean and looked brand new! It is a short beautiful drive from Boulder, but also was in a quiet remote place. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!
This place is a gem. Feels remote but still has the convenience of a market, right across the street, liquor store and couple restaurants within a half mile. Loved the cabin and had the comfort and amenities that me, my wife and daughters use everyday!!
We highly recommend staying at the Ferncliff Lodge! We stayed in one of the studio suites, which was a lovely, freshly renovated room. Everything was very inviting and comfortable! We also loved the quaint location, which is about 30 minutes from Estes Park! The staff was wonderful, giving very specific directions on how to get there as well as leaving detailed instructions for all of the amenities!
Overall, we loved our stay and would love to come back!
