"Family room was fantastic. Two superking beds plus a comfy camp bed. Fantastic. Excellent menu choices in the restaurant for dinner & the staff were really attentive & friendly. A couple of things to improve on…very limited vegan options for brekkie. Our daughter is dairy-free & butter was the only option to put on toast, no margarine etc. It’s a minor point but so easy to put right. "

"Hotel is in an amazing location. It had a lovely set up with attractive looking bar & lounge area. Breakfast was just right with good hot & cold choices. Room was lovely & comfortable with good views of the cathedral, only slight criticism was the bathroom was a bit tired, there’s lots of marks on the floor & the bath seemed heavily stained but it did still seem clean. All the staff we encountered were all friendly, approachable & professional. We would definitely stay here again."

"Lovely hotel and lovely staff! The manager (Jan) the evening we stayed went above and beyond to rectify an issue we had and moved our room within 10 minites of us talking to him! Excellent experience, will definately be back."
