Cantinho D'Os Reais is located in the village of Pinhão, 50 metres from the Douro River, one of the main tourist destinations of the Douro region, in the heart of the Alto Douro wine region, recognised as World Heritage by Unesco, characterised by its historical and cultural richness.

Overlooking the Pinhão and Douro rivers, Cantinho D'Os Reais features an elegant living room with a comfortable sofa and flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

Cantinho D'Os Reais is decorated in a modern and very comfortable way and all rooms have views over the river and the vineyards.

All rooms are air conditioned.

The rooms have comfortable king size beds.

The bathrooms come with a hairdryer and showers.

Guests can start the day with a delicious breakfast on the shaded veranda, overlooking the river and vineyards, which provides the ideal atmosphere for a great wake-up call.
Cantinho D'Os Reais offers breakfast and wine tasting.

Meals are delivered to the house on request.

During the harvest season in September, guests can participate in the wine production process. Daily guided tours and wine tastings are available in the various vineyards of the region.

Cantinho D'Os Reais is located in the centre of the pretty village of Pinhão.

The Pinhão train station is a 3-minute walk from the apartment and features tiles with a vineyard theme.

Vila Real is 38 km away, Lamego 35 km and Régua 27 km, all cities with plenty of shops and restaurant options.
The city of Porto is 121km away and provides direct train connections to Pinhão through the lush, winding Douro valleys.
Porto's Francisco Sá Carneiro International Airport is a 90-minute drive away.

Nearby leisure activities include hiking, canoeing, cycling and boat and train rides.

Pinhão is a parish in the municipality of Alijó, in the district of Vila Real.
The village of Pinhão is located in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region and is flanked by the rivers Douro and Pinhão, thus being situated on the Port Wine route.

The Road Bridge over the Douro River was designed by Gustave Eiffel in the 19th century.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! The photos don’t do it justice. Fresh bread from the bakery hanging on your apartment door every morning. Arrived to a special treat on the table and the fridge stocked for breakfast, cold meats & drinks. Beds super comfortable, everything you need in the kitchen, spectacular view from the terrace. Highly highly recommend!

This was a excellent property to stay at. The apartment was clean and updated. The view was amazing. Also, a fully stocked fridge, fresh fruit and bread every morning was a real treat. We locked ourselves out and a local representative was there right away to let us back in. The only downside, we couldn’t get the coffee maker to work, the showers backed up with water and the directions to the property did not work on google or apple maps. Would stay again!

Great location and very well appointed!

This is a beautifully appointed unit in the core street of Pinhao. Close to all amenities - groceries, cafes, bars, waterfront, and main railway station. Quietly backs onto the Pinhao river that is very quiet and peaceful - the balcony is very nice to sit on for breakfast and afternoon relaxing. Rooms are very large. Only one flight up from the street between two clean and well appointed shops. the owner provided some food and drink supplies and there is daily bread delivery.

Fabulous apartment

This wonderful apartment is extremely large with separate living/dining room, kitchen, and two good sized bedrooms, each with their own washroom. The balcony overlooking the river was a lovely place to enjoy a glass of wine. Communication was clear and responsive. We were greeted with a charcuterie board, chilled wine, and bread delivered daily for breakfast. A wonderful weekend getaway!

A wonderful stay in a fabulous apartment!

We loved our stay here and would be very happy to come back again! The apartment is very spacious and has everything you need. Every time I thought I would like to have something, I turned around and there it was! The view off of the balcony at the intersection of the rivers and across from the terraced vineyards is spectacular! The communication was superb! We had a little trouble finding the place because the VRBO map showed it in a different location. I suggest typing the address into your map app to help you find the location. The host was super, messaging us to help us find the right spot. We loved the location, too. There are a few excellent wineries within walking distance (Bomfim, Carvalhas, and I think Roeda). We found some lovely restaurants in town, and there are great river boat tours. It is a very quiet town, and there are some buildings in disrepair, but there is really nothing to worry about, and we can't wait to come back!

Excellent location with great views

We were very impressed by this apartment; the best that we stayed in during our three week trip to Portugal. We arrived late in the afternoon to find a spread of meats and cheese, fresh bread, and a large bowl of fruit. In the refrigerator was milk, orange juice, eggs, yogurt and a bottle of wine. A fresh loaf of bread was delivered every morning. When Ana says breakfast is included she really pampered us. The view from the balcony over the river was wonderful. And since it's Spring there were lots of swallows diving through the air. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked for visitors. Unlike many apartments where we have stayed in the past, there were detailed instructions for every appliance. We highly recommend this place.

Beautiful stay in Pinhao

Our host, Ana, graciously provided a wonderful fresh bread each morning and other foods for breakfast. The apartment was clean, with two barrooms with very comfortable beds and, when the weather got hot, AC. The view of the Douro down below is lovely at night. And the stunning views of vineyard-studded hillsides make this a true value and memorable experience. Ana is an efficient, gracious and helpful host.

Super comfortable with all the amenities

The apartment is beautifully furnished and has a lovely view of the Pinhao River. Not only does it have all the amenities, but our host, Anna, stocked the refrigerator with breakfast foods and hung fresh bread on our door knob each morning. There were also beers and a bottle of rosé waiting for us in the fridge. Pinhao is a cute little town with great restaurants and bakeries. It was a great location for us to soak up the vibe of the Douro Valley and its fabulous wines. Anna was responsive and hospitable. We would definitely come here again!

Outstanding property in Pinhao

Ana did everything possible to ensure we felt at home, in a fantastic property in Pinhoa. Very responsive and kind owner. Quiet, safe, secluded location. Ana stocked the kitchen with wonderful fresh fruit, cereals, fruit juics, water, and breakfast items plus fresh bread every morning. The apartment was clean had all the amenities one could need, including washing machine, detergent, etc. It was easy to walk everywhere, including 5 minutes to the train station. Easy to get into the apartment, and Ana answered any questions quickly. I fully recommend staying at this apartment.
