My family of 5 stayed here for 10 days while we visited DC and the surrounding area. The home was clean and comfortable. A nice place to come back to and relax each night. The washer/dryer was great to have access to. We had one issue with the lock, but Khue and her brother were very responsive and walked us through it! Great place to stay. Close to DC. Would stay here again.

This house was perfect for our stay. It was close to grocery shopping and the Metro. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. The house was very nice and had enough space and amenities. The check in and check out process was so easy. We would highly recommend this house for your next vacation to D.C.

Perfect place for our family for a DC trip!

Everything was as listed, and communication with the host was especially excellent and she was very responsive to messages. There were enough beds for our family of six which includes two teens, so having the space and beds was amazing. Our favorite things: a big hot water heater for good showers, great washer and dryer, quiet neighborhood, only a 13-15 minute drive from the Franconia-Sprongfield Metro parking garage and station made going in/out of downtown surprisingly easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Mostly good, some bad.

Overall, this house was very clean and quiet. It was well stocked. Although it is 10 miles from D.C, it can take up to 45 min to drive in due to traffic. We were not expecting that. And, it's not that close to old town Alexandria.We lost power for 27 hours. It was very hot in the house and super inconvenient without electricity as we were supposed to host a dinner party for family. The owner was responsive at first, but when I sent her several messages about how we had to throw a refrigerator and freeze full of food away, she never responded and still has not. She did not offer any credit whatsoever.

Our Police Motor Unit stayed at this home during Police Week in DC. The accommodation was well stocked, was really clean, in a safe quiet location, and all conversations with the host were promptly and sufficiently answered. We actually met the host, as we were loading our motors after our final escort, and they were super nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Trip to DC and other Cities

Our stay was a week long. One of the first things we noticed was how well equipped it was. The cleanliness was impressive. The location allowed us to get where we wanted to go with ease. We would definitely stay here again.

A nice place to stay when you’re going to VA hospital.

We stayed here due to going to VA hospital. It is a very quiet neighborhood, close to shopping and the freeways. The kitchen is stocked with extra’s. The only thing I wasn’t aware of was the tv doesn’t have cable, you can add your streaming devices, we were unable to add ours, we’re not good with electronics. We would stay here anytime when coming to this area!👍

DC Family Trip

First, communication with the owner was outstanding. The home was very comfortable for our family of grandparents, daughter, and grandson. We enjoyed being able to relax after long days of visiting all the sights of DC. Everything was bright, new (kitchen, baths) and clean. The neighborhood is quiet and the home is on a larger lot that felt private. We would gladly return.

The perfect place for our family......

Our stay was great! Such a lovely quaint home, and we really had everything we needed. There were a couple of hiccups that I brought to the host's attention, and she was totally accommodating and understanding. We hope to return next summer!!

Great place

The house was great. Everything we needed for our trip to DC. Very clean and comfortable. The owners replaced the couches and chairs right before we arrived. Excellent communication from the owner which made checking in and out a breeze. Recommend….

Spring Break in DC

Family of 4 stayed over spring break. Home was clean and worked perfectly for us. Location to food, highways and metro was good. Only negative was home was listed as having a hot tub which it does not, so we were a little disappointed. Khue was very communicative. Nothing fancy and walls could use a paint job, but would recommend.

Great house and location

A sweet treat at Christmas

We had a wonderful stay at this location. We were there to meet our 1st grandchild 2 months old. Convenient to Pentagon city in a quiet neighborhood. Khue was a fabulous host. Very available and very kind. It is a simple home with all the needs when you are staying in this area.

The Perfect Home Base for a Visit to DMV

Whether you're in town for business or pleasure, this is the perfect spot to settle in for an extended stay. Located in a quiet neighborhood that belies its easy access to freeways, we thoroughly enjoyed this thoughtfully appointed home. The kitchen is well equipped, so we easily whipped up meals to dine al fresco on the back deck when we didn't feel like take out from one of the many delicious ethnic eateries nearby. Walkability is a strong asset, with everything from a creek side park to a good-sized shopping center within an easy stroll. The spacious private yard is a haven for birds, squirrels, and an occasional deer. Khue was extremely helpful and touched based with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. This is one of the best VRBO experiences we have had--Khue sets a high bar! If we are in the area again, this would be our first choice for accommodations!

Nice quiet place

Impeccably clean, quiet house floor with large kitchen and cozy deck (lots of sun in the morning; nice and peaceful in the evening; especially nice when the many birds are around). Beautiful, quiet park at the end of the road, situated along a peaceful creek. There was some minor construction during the day next door, which appeared to be temporary.

Alexandria House

Great location for easy access to many sites around northern Va! Owner was very helpful and communicative. Neighborhood was charming and safe. Wish the fireplace was working and the LR furniture were more comfy but all in all a great stay.
