    The Space:

    If you're in dire need of escaping the noise of the daily hustle and bustle, you're in luck! This quiet and rural home is the perfect place to get away from it all and escape to paradise. This particular part of North Carolina is filled with winding rivers and rolling landscapes, ideal for nature lovers. You're a short drive away from I-26, as well as the French Broad River and the Riverside Bikeway for scenic rides. You'll also be within 10 minutes from Weaverville and Marshall (and about 20 minutes away from Asheville!) at this lovely retreat. Indulge in the area's hiking trails, gardens, vineyards, antiquing, and local eateries that are hidden gems. Inside you'll find a bright interior with lots of natural light and a warm feeling of welcome throughout the space. The open floor plan was designed with togetherness in mind, so no conversation will be missed here. Enjoy gathering and playing board games in the game area. Prepare grand meals or on-the-go snacks in the full kitchen, complete with a floating kitchen island. Get settled on the comfy furniture in front of the fireplace to watch a movie on the 65' TV, with a 180-degree view of the green trees outside. Another living room area also boasts a 65' smart TV with streaming capabilities if you'd like to watch your favorite shows there instead. If you need to stay connected and work remotely, a dedicated workspace is available. After being productive, take advantage of the house's outdoor spaces, such as a back patio and a large deck featuring tables and chairs for lounging. Enjoy a wonderful night's sleep in the bedrooms, with some of the best views around. At the end of the day, watch a North Carolina sunset from the spacious covered porch.

Great getaway

Perfect place for a large family or two smaller families. It was summer so we didn't use the multiple fire pits and large hot tub but will return in the fall and take advantage then. Very spacious, yet cozy at the same time. Can't miss rental.

Lots of Quilt!!

House as pictured/described. House very clean and everything is where they should be. If you don’t want to cook, restaurants are just 20 minutes away. If you want to relax and be away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place. Overall, family enjoyed our stay.

It was a good stay. I would suggest more clear instructions on how to lock up the home, we had to call customer service to get help and it took about 5 minutes to find lockbox they referred to. Additionally description should include how secluded the home was. We loved how large the home was. It reminded us of being at our grandmother's home. Personal preference would be to include tvs in bedrooms. Overall it was good and comfortable.

Vacasa ruined our vacation

Bigger and better than pics show.

Exceeded our expectations. Hilltop in the mountains with great views. Much larger than we expected with tons of living areas and outside decks and patio. Loved the decor. Would consider booking this again if we need 4 bedrooms. Only glitch was that the grill was low on gas so had to take the hamburgers and hotdogs inside to the kitchen to cook. The smoke alarm went off and we did not have the code to silence it. No worries, the fire department showed up promptly. The property is apparently managed by a third party who did not have this info. It would be nice to have an info line besides the 1-800 number. Nonetheless this property was still good enough to rate 5 stars.

Although the home itself was lovely, the property management company ruined most of our vacation.they told us before booking that we had lake access to swim in the lake, but this was incorrect.We would not have booked this home if we knew that.The home was not clean or ready for us upon arrival at the listed check-in time.The Septic tank started to overflow and needed to be pumped. I had to find a company to come quickly on my own.Golf cart that we paid for broke down on the side of the mountain road. We were given inaccurate pieces of information by host before arriving. Terrible customer service and poor communication. There were other issues , too many to list here.I don’t blame the homeowners, but I do blame the company . With proper management this home could be the perfect rental property, but do be aware there is no lake access except for the cute little marina where you can rent boats, kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards.We did make the best of our time here, even though a lot of the time was spent dealing with issues that we had to handle ourselves because they couldn’t help us. Positives: home is a good size that fit our family perfectly. Lake Toxaway country club is very pretty.The home is nicely stocked with top of the line kitchen items.The golf cart was nice to have while it worked.My negative review is not about the home itself, but about the management company and our terrible experience with them. I gave them a chance to rectify but they didn’t.
