「Everything about the stay was more than expected. We were so impressed with the staff (and we don’t speak Portuguese) upon arrival, that we immediately booked a second night! They treated our dogs great, brought a dog bed to the room for them, allowed them at the pool (there was another couple with a dog there too!). Small bar at the pool, a second building with more rooms and amenities opening soon, the groups are beautiful and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful breakfast….will...

「We cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. It was the gem of our trip in Southern Spain/Portugal. The staff was so helpful and accommodating to any questions, needs or reservations we wanted to make. The room was clean, well maintained, quiet (see note below), and comfortable. 「I stayed 3 nights, room was cleaned every day. Great quiet spot to base out of if you are traveling around Alentejo. The town is very cute and there are lots of beaches in each town around the alqueva. It is worth driving around for a day to see all the small villages. There are some great food options around town as well. I did not eat breakfast here but they do have a Continental breakfast area.」

「This property is a little oasis hidden away. While a bit tricky to get to as you have to drive on unpaved roads, it's worth it once you get there. The room had everything we needed, and the breakfast was wonderful and included local products. The location is quite rural, however, the closest town (Ourique) was only a 15 minute drive away.
