"Our stay that the leveret was so peaceful and out of the way but not too far from shops and pubs. The cabin was so cosy and private. We ordered more logs from the owners and the response was quick and sonwere the logs. Everything was excellent, wish we stayed a little longer as went far too quick. Had lots of people asking where we staying as looked great on the videos we posted of the place. "

"We found the property clean but lacking, certainly not "Superb". The decor was sparse e.g. bare light bulbs. Negatives Bathroom: no mirror, no towel rails, only one hand towel in the property for three. Kitchen: Two sets of knives & forks for three, no large glasses or wine glasses, no fire blanket/extinguisher, no downstairs smoke alarm I could spot. Small bedroom: no hanging space, one plug socket (used by lamp), only one half of a pair of curtains. Large bedroom: two hangers on a...

"Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space."

"Very helpful, we were going to be later than anticipated arriving, phoned to let them know, they reassured us it was no problem, everything was ready for our stay. Check-in at the bar was easy, staff showed us to our studio, staff very cheerful. Food in the pub was great, not just pub grub. Only downside, studio was small."

"Very clean and tidy property with a great host. Super quiet location but close to all the amenities you could need for a great trip. Local pubs are walkable or very short drive serving good food if you don't want to cook."

Bar was well stocked, bar service was great Breakfast was adequate with a good range for me as a vegetarian.
