We stayed here almost by accident on way back from Taos. Our experience at Los Poblanos was fantastic! The grounds were beautiful. The staff was amazing. The food was delicious. The library bar was a great getaway. This was one of the more pleasant experiences we’ve had traveling. We have stayed at multiple Auberge (including Bishops lodge Santa Fe) multiple Ritz and Waldorf – Los Poblanos experience was on par with those other properties. The property is not opulent and It’s not fancy for sake of being fancy, but the property is what it should be down to the last detail for the experience they are offering. We will be back.
Depending on the room that is designated, some are better than others. I requested
a room that is bright/light, but
got a dark room even though it
was an upgrade.
FYI: Don’t forget the price/night
may seem reasonable. When you checkout, there are many local city taxes, resort fees, farm taxes, for maintenance etc.
We had dinner and breakfast.
Both were fabulous.
Would like to come again, but
the room will make it or break it. Good experience.
This place is magical. We were only able to stay one night due to travel schedules, but we wished we could stay all week. If you have the chance to stay at Los Poblanos, take it!
First of all, I have to say I really love this hotel. It is an incredible place if I ever owned a hotel I would want to own one like this. There’s one exception to all of it, which is the mattresses and the Spartan room design. The mattresses need to be plush and the rooms should feel a little more luxurious than they are. Also, I would suggest that the manager of the hotel does some deep diving on hotel, guest interactions, and improve some training. While my interactions have been all positive they are touch points that should be improved. When arriving at such a beautiful place you expect a certain expertise to come with it. But again, I love this hotel and I always like staying there.
Absolutely beautiful place. The grounds were spectacular even though it wasn’t time for the lavender blooms. The meal was the best yet in our Rt 66 jaunt. Room was really nice. Staff very friendly.
Staying at Los Poblanos Lavender Farm is always a delight. The grounds are beautiful, the farm atmosphere is something I really enjoy. The staff are always friendly and more than willing to help. The rooms are clean and smelling of lavender. Bedding is clean and fresh. I fell in love with the place the first time I stayed there because it is unique and relaxing. There are many amenities like a spa, pool, and other activities. The restaurant has excellent food and the farm shop is always full of goodies to enjoy. While it is expensive it is definitely worth the money.
Loved our stay at Los Poblanos. We enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant. The morning pets with mouse and breakfast buffet were memorable. After a dip in the pool our kids loved wandering the gardens and were treated by the friendly resident alpacas.
We were not able to stay very long, but what a great visit. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Had a lovely dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed the beautiful views and the peaceful environment. Our room was large and well appointed with a nice view and a cute little porch. We did not have time for a treatment at the spa, but stopped by. It looks to be a peaceful and attractive spot for treatments. Favorite part was an after dinner stop at the library bar. The bartender is wonderful and knowledgeable and the room and setting are magical. You feel as if you have been transported back in time. Next time I will plan a longer visit to really enjoy all the hotel has to offer.
The scent of lavender in the air.. free roaming peacocks.. fabulous bar and restaurant .. service .. people.. staff .. can’t find anything wrong. Place
Is 100% perfect.. been there twice and recommend this place .
The property itself is uniques and such a joy to stroll through the various areas. We had the pleasure meeting Ms Rembe in “The Library “ where we were enjoying some of their unique cocktails. Not knowing who she was at the time, she was so pleasant and we had a great conversation. The restaurant serves marvelous options and we enjoyed the pasta selections along with some nice wine, outdoors, making it an even better evening. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. If you get the chance a stay at Los Poblanos is a must.
For total relaxation and pampering, Los Poblanos is at the top! Employees are all happy and proud to be part of this wonderful family! The rooms are spacious and comfortable! The Spa is complete bliss! The lavender products are home grown and not to be missed! Can’t wait to return!
We enjoyed our stay at Los Pablanos. I felt it to be hospitable, clean, dining was excellent, shops were quaint and well stocked. The staff were all great and seemed happy to work there!
Pros: aesthetic, dining, gift shop, property, room size/comfort, nice shower, bakery was excellent, comfy bed, farm animals, farm!
Cons: very expensive bakery, shop, spa & dining prices considering the area. Parking is a trek from checkin/rooms and with rain we finally arrived at our room muddy and soaked (ugh!). Very nice concept and stay.
Amazing stay. Great surrounding grounds to wander on. Beautiful wildlife and wild flowers. Restaurant delicious but front of house a bit chaotic. Service seemed stretched but outstanding food and beverage. This is my fourth visit to the magical farm.
