Evening of check in the lady at the desk was rude to our daughter and another guest. In the room the smoke wasn't hooked up but the wiring was hanging from the ceiling, the tile in the bathroom was broken. I spoke to with the lady in the morning to report the rudeness and reported the other issues to her. She was very kind and understanding. She also said she would speak to he manager.

The bathtub in our room had massive amounts of rust around the faucets and there was what looked to be mold on the caulking of the bathtub. Parts of the grout were missing. The hot tub was barely warm, there was dirt and debris at the bottom and when the jets of the pool were turned on there was massive amounts of “brown” dirty bubbles that came out. There was also a very strong chemical smell from the hot tub, we got out immediately after noticing these issues.

The breakfast was not ever fully available. We attempted both days that we stayed to go down and have breakfast. They never had enough of anything. The hot tub was ice cold and very nasty full of foam. As far as our room, the size of the room was amazing. Our door was so hard that it made a horrible noise every time we had opened or closed it which made it hard to get out of the room once the baby was sleeping. Our bed squeaked when we rolled over. The check-in staff when we arrived was exceptional. The checkout staff on the other hand was very short and rude. It is safe to say we will not be staying in this establishment again when we come back to Albuquerque. We spend a lot of time in this town on road trip but do not recommend this place, especially if you have small children. Which I did put in my reservations that I had a baby and a 4-year-old. We got calls from the front desk complaining about us being entirely too loud. Disturbing the neighbors below us. That should have been something at the front desk considered knowing very well that we had small children, but we had to do with a barking dog in the room next to us all weekend and that didn't seem to be relevant. But my 4-year-old running and playing in the room was too much. Would not consider this a family friendly location, and again will not be staying or recommending to any of my family

The room was vey clean. The rooms were vey nice and modern. My only problem was the restroom and it was the shower in particular. There was a lot of caulkling on the walls and the tub was peeling a bit. Other than the shower the rest of the stay was great. The location is good, there is a lot of stores near by, so very convenient.

First off the blankets and the couches were stain, the shower tub was nasty and the shower curtain was ripped.. the tv controllers would work when they wanted too but thank god we had our tablets and phone.. then we woke up for breakfast that is “included” there was nothing. The worst part was the swimming pool was cold as heck! And the chemicals were so strong that it was hard to keep your eyes open and breath. The staff were so unprofessional and rude. Never will I ever book at this hotel.

The breakfast was not good. Ran out of muffins and bagels. They didn’t have cream cheese or peanut butter for them. They had vouchers for breakfast so you couldn’t go and eat as much as you wanted. Also there was no cream or coffee maker in the room. Room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable in one room but the other room was very cold because the window wouldn’t close and you could hear noise from outside also the woman in the next room was talking very loud until two am so we couldn’t get good sleep.

The air conditioner was noisy. There was no separate switch for the fan and light in the bathroom. And the fan was noisy. The shower pressure was far too high. When you turned the tap dial around to get hot water, the water pressure was almost stinging on the body. For a hotel that says that it has a policy of only changing towels every two days to conserve water, it is absolute hypocrisy to have shower fittings that waste so much water with excessive water flow.

It lists as newly remodeled, our room was not. The bathroom tub was chipped/scraped. The shower nozzle wasn't connected to the wall. When taking a shower, the water didn't drain so you stood in the water. The room needs a table and chairs. There was 1 rolling chair that leaned back and scared whoever sat in it. We went to breakfast at 9, there was nothing to eat. A worker was sitting in a room off the dining area and said there were no more eggs. That was laughable, there was no more of anything and she didn't seem to want to fix the situation. The outside needs care to make the whole place seem welcoming. The whole property needs care; paint, new furniture, etc.

The room was really spacious. The area wasn't the best and parking was limited. Their breakfast was also underwhelming. Overall, it worked for one night.

This property was nice......at one point in time. VERY dated and in desperate need of repair. Stains on the furniture and mattress in the rooms, rust everywhere there's water, lights that barely work. The pool was a disaster. The heater wasn't working so it was ice cold. The hot tub was lukewarm at best and the railings were falling out of the concrete. So much rust everywhere. The water was murky. And the cherry on top of the pool...... you have to CHECK OUT A TOWEL from the front desk! Ok, weird but doable. Where I draw the line? You have to return it BEFORE making your way back to your room. Look, I'm not a self conscious person. My body has gotten me through some super fun adventures and given me one fantastic child. However......no one else wants to see my fat behind dripping water down the hall while my cellulite jiggles along the way. Not to mention at the front desk AND walking through the lobby. Sure, I could have wrapped up in a robe......if I had packed one. Didn't plan on the swamp monster walk of shame on my spring break. Do better, La Quinta. The highlight of our stay was Sarah, the front desk rep in the evenings. She was kind, patient, and helpful. This place doesn't deserve her!

Room was not clean, there was trash left under the pull out couch from previous guest. Dirty couches that they didn’t vacuum , stains on the walls, and tissue wash not replaced when we asked for room service for the next night. Room was stuffy even with the ac.

Save your money and go somewhere else. The water took a while to warm up. The staff was not very welcoming. The place had this muggie feeling. The breakfast area couldnt get refilled fast enought and there was only a small amount of guest. The best advise i gave give is to go somewhere else.

No hot water. Alarm going off in the middle of the night. All customers came outside by choice. I had to call fire dept. no one explained to us what is going on they all just left. First it was carbon monoxide. Then plumbing.
