"To cut it short: if you plan to sleep at night, do not stay here.
The hotel ihas the look and feel of a cheaply remodeled old roadside hotel. Inside, everything feels old and outdated. Paint chipping off, the elevator makes very discomforting noises, it's dark and somber.
The worst is the noise level. The in-room AC is as loud as a chainsaw, and the entire room vibrates when it is on. We had to unplug it (it does not have an off switch) and sleep in a hot room. Worse than that is the freeway noise. I don't think the windows have been replaced since the property was built decades ago. These windows provide no noise protection, and you hear the freeway as loud as if the windows were open. The hotel is next to a freeway onramp, and cars accelerate there loudly, we were woken up many times by freeway noise.
On the positive side, the staff is friendly, the bed was comfortable, the shower is hot and has good water pressure, and the size of the room is generous. It has a large TV but I was not able to use it because it would not turn on (perhaps the remote was dead, don't know).
I would definitely not stay here again, and I would not recommend it to anyone. For the same price (we paid $160), you can get a much better hotel. Don't be fooled by the cool artsy pictures on the website. The wall art looks a lot less fancy when you are there."
