Amazing stay

Our girls getaway weekend was a dream in this relaxing property. The entire house is spacious and clean. Very easy to feel at home. Our favorite gathering spot was the impressive kitchen where we shared charcuterie and coffee. The views are spectacular. Would certainly go again.

Sandy Feet Girls Trip

Sandy Feet was perfect for our college roommate reunion. It fit all 12 of us with plenty of space. Everything was as advertised. The home is spacious with beautiful lake views and the bar/gameroom was fun for all. Looking forward to returning again.

Loved the lake. House is beautiful. Has a 2 man Kayak, not one man. There is a highchair (emailed to ask and they said no highchair.) Wifi is not good. TVs would constantly lose wifi connection.

Memorial Day Weekend 2024

Our group had 5 adults and 5 children ranging in ages from 5 to 13. There was plenty of space for everyone and the kids loved playing ping pong in the game room. We spent most of our time in the backyard, hot tub, dock and in the lake. The lake's depth (1 to 3 feet) surrounding the dock was perfect for all of the kids to play safely. The canoe, kayaks and unicorn floaty got plenty of use. At night, we like to wind down with a movie but the wifi wasn't that reliable so streaming was a little tough. That being said, we had an incredible weekend at this beautiful home. We would definitely come back another time.

Relaxing getaway

The house couldn't have been more perfect. We were a team of 30 something mostly medical professionals, there to celebrate our friends last few weeks as a bachelor. We wanted somewhere calm and serene, as none of us are big drinkers and are well past our partying days. We spent as much time looking at wildlife as we did playing Foosball and Ping Pong. The house set up was perfectly for our needs, with a kitchen large enough to feed us all and 3 sitting areas that we enjoyed immensely. We would absolutely book here again.

Sandy Feet- great location but lacked basics

Overall it was a great house in a great location. The house was in need of an overall deep cleaning outside and within the doors and windows. There were were huge cobwebs in the upstairs bedroom. Some of the windows did not have window screens and the screen doors were not in alignment and bugs could enter the house if left open. There was also a problem with the shower not functioning. The management company addressed it immediately. However, when we reported the oven was not fully operational, the management company did not call us back to follow up. The house is in a wonderful location, huge windows, but for the large premium we paid for the house rental it should have been in 100% working order. If you are going to charge the such a large premium, the house should be fully cleaned inside and out with everything in working order.

Great Ski House

This is a great house for families! Spacious bedrooms and a great game room. Photos don’t do the house justice. Located within 30 minutes to various ski mountains.

Expected more..

My family and I were excited to stay at this house after viewing the pictures online. We had an amazing New Years weekend, beautiful lake view, however for the price we payed, the property was lacking many things. To start off the house didn’t offer enough amenities . The bed sheets were left for us to put on due to Covid, meanwhile the house lacked cleanliness. While showering you had to wait 15 minutes for warm water, if lucky (with an infant and two toddlers). We were given two dishwashing tablets for the house that fits 16 people. We had to go buy an extra dishwasher detergent, for the house that cost us a little over 4000$ per two nights.

Disappointing

Don’t get me wrong the place has a nice location on a pretty lake. The great room and kitchen are wonderful. The outdoor possibilities are great and perhaps this place is a better rental for the summer. The basement , bedrooms and bathrooms were all fine. The biggest issue the group had with the place was the lack of basic amenities. For the price charged per night one would expect that there are towels that are capable of drying a human being heavier than 35 pounds. For the nightly rate one would expect more than 5 roles of toilet paper. To stock the house with toilet paper and proper towels would be a minimum cost. Almost all 3 star hotels would consider those basic amenities. No ice making capabilities. Wine fridge didn’t work. Heat was either a sauna or an icebox. Bed linens were prison like. Again for the price being charged per night the owner should buy some cheap blankets and sheet sets and decent pillows. The rental company answered our calls for one day than disappeared. Overall the place is nice and has great potential. Providing the basic essentials and ensuring that everything works would have gone a long way and not left us all feeling like we got a bit ripped off. In hindsight this place was misaligned on price versus amenities provided. Either provide the basic essentials or decrease the price or let the guests know that they will need to bring towels, pillows, sheets, blankets, ice, etc.

Great location, unclean home

The location of this home is great - beautiful waterfront sunsets and sunrises right outside your door. However, that's where the positives end. 1) No basic amenities/toiletries! Prior to our arrival, we asked about soap/etc. and we were assured that basic starter toiletries would be provided. However, when we arrived, there was NO SOAP of any kind, and only 2 rolls of toilet paper for a house fit for 16 people. We tried to call but no one picked up for an HOUR so we ended up having to go out to purchase soap, dish soap, sponges, toilet paper, paper towels, and EVEN FLOOR CLEANER. WHY? 2) This place was DIRTY upon arrival. There was a puddle from a leak from the freezer, leftover FOOD AND TRASH, and the floors were so dirty that we had to buy swiffer wipes to clean the grimy floors. 3) Dining space is basically located in a enclosed patio, which means it was FREEZING COLD. Unfortunately this was not evident based on the photos. They provided a small space heater, which was not helpful because when we tried to turn it on, the outlet stopped working. 4) Lastly, this home was worn out. Pictures must be old because many parts of the home felt weathered and dingy.

Beautiful and fun!

The house really is beautiful and a great place to go with family and friends for vacation. The water is shallow BUT is was perfect for us to kayak, paddle board and lay out on floats all day. The dock is all you really need. Nice and peaceful. Negatives- the instructions on how to get into the house were very poor. We had to call (the staff at Pocono mountain rentals are very nice) and sit on the phone for a while to correct the situation. They instructions emailed prior to the trip should be much clearer. They should also include where to find the car stickers and wrists bands for the water. When we arrived there was no toilet paper or soaps. The house was cleaned very well but a nice woman came and eventually dropped the items off. I would honestly stay here again in a heartbeat. The house and location are really wonderful- highly recommend!!!!

Memorial Day getaway

We had an amazing stay over Memorial Day weekend with a group of us. The house is stunning, the kitchen is spacious and very high end. The kids enjoyed the lake. We felt we had our own private beach. The water is shallow. Views are so beautiful and peaceful. Great way to disconnect and reconnect in Nature. Overall great experience

The place is out of this world my only complaint would be trying to get in the place they give u a code to an inside door and forgot to tell u u have to go through the garage to get to the door u get the code for if it wasn’t raining and cold the nite we got there it wouldn’t of bothered me at all the lady from HomeAway was very polite and took care of us so thank you ❤️❤️

Perfect Score for the Property

The home was absolutely perfect. The location, the amenities, the beach, everything exceeded expectations. The kitchen was even a highlight! Unbelievable home. I will say that interactions with management were a bit frustrating at times. Seemed to bounce between extremely nice and friendly to cold and abrasive. I had to send in a detailed list of cars coming multiple times in what seemed to be a totally unnecessary fashion. Also felt very rushed to get out. We had left the home and had all our belongings outside but spent 30-45 minutes deflating rafts and waiting for our friend to return from dropping off the garbage (which was closer to 20min away than the advertised 2min) and got a very unfriendly call about us not being out of the house yet. Other than that, the house itself is an absolute paradise and well worth anyone looking to get out of the city and relax.
