"We booked a premium room but the room given was completely different to the photos provided. Address was different to what was given on here. Had to wait over an hour for check in time evenknow we arrived within check in time. When we asked about the room being premium we were ignored. On boat staff were fine and accomodating which is the reason I didnt give a lower rating. We ended up booking another place for the second night because we were so disappointed. "

"These houseboats are not the ones featured in the pictures. It was a different company from the advertised Northstar, it is rather Coco houseboats. The first boat offered to us was awful with no comfortable seating area and the bedrooms were dismal with dirty linen. We complained and were given a second larger boat with marginally better seating, however on inspection of the bedrooms we were appalled by the state of the bedroom. "We enjoyed Backwater Resort very much. We stayed 1 evening before an overnight houseboat trip. We enjoyed the resort so much we returned for another day just relaxing. The staff are all super accommodating and everyone greets you in passing. 5 star service. The rooms are done very well with real wood furnishing. It is isolated from the city but so quiet and relaxing. Finally, great lake views."
