「There is a hidden cleaning fee (Expedia stated 5000 ISK but there is a sheet in person that corresponds to 100 euros or 14000 ISK) that they will charge if you don't dust the furniture, mop the floors, and strip the beds, which I thought was completely unrealistic to expect from guests.

「Enjoyed my stay again in general, clean and comfortable. Host was helpful when I had a hot tub temperature issue. Two even better if's: I wish they would proactively send you the check in like others do, instead of making you contact in advance. The towel rail was making a big noise clanking on the wall which woke me up.」
