"We had a nice stay at the hotel. The views of the Elbe were beautiful. And the location was convenient. The restaurant attached to the hotel serves delicious Italian food and there is a great bar/wurst stand on the premises."

"The room was perfect for us and our dog. The beds were great and we had a good nights sleep. We ate in the dog friendly part of the restaurant and the food was very good. The staff were friendly and most of Them spoke a bit of English. Breakfast was extensive. The property was lovely and we Will definitely try and stop there again."

This hotel preserves a wonderful, old-world charm that contemporary hotels often miss.The rooms are compact but excellently organized to be functional and utilitarian. Everything is kept absolutely spotless. A massive plus is that the rooms are cleaned and beds are made every single day by default—refreshingly choosing guest comfort over corporate cost-cutting trends. The bathroom was equally clean and well-maintained.The breakfast spread is healthy, tasty, and features very fresh, mostly local farm produce rather than an extravagant, wasteful buffet. The two staff members running it are briskly efficient, managing everything smoothly despite the tight interior space.Overall, the service here is quiet, seamless, and highly efficient without the chaotic rush of corporate staff. If you appreciate clean, no-nonsense comfort and authentic European hospitality, this is a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended! Walking distance from Wedel station. And if you stay here do visit the Willkomm Höft. It’s truly unique in maritime traditions."
