"Comfortable place within a short walk to all attractions and restaurants the area has to offer. We booked a triple room and it came with one large bed and a twin for our child in the adjacent room. Small kitchenette with a fringe, microwave, stove top and a coffee maker. Spacious bathroom with a tub. Large balcony with a partial view. "Pros: Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν πάρα πού φιλικός και φιλόξενος. Το μέρος είναι καταπληκτικό με απερίγραπτη θέα. Ο χώρος πολύ καθαρός και διαθέτει όλα τα απαραίτητα για να περάσεις τις διακοπές σου. Η διαμονή μας στον χώρο αυτό ήταν καταπληκτική. Αν ξαναέρθουμε θα το επιλέξουμε πάλι. Υπάρχει η ταβέρνα δίπλα με πολύ καλό φαγητό. Παραδοσιακοί μεζέδες καλό κρασί και ρακί ήταν τα πιο χαρακτηριστικά. "Just had a 7 night stay with my husband and children- 16,14,11. The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. My daughter has a wheat and dairy intolerance and they were happy to let us use things we brought with us as well as buying milk and making a cake that she was able to have. The pool was big enough for them to play and have fun but not too busy like some bigger hotels. We are looking to come back next year."

"The best part about this hotel is its setting and outdoor areas. Absolutely stunning. The beach is a sandy cove and swimming pool lovely with shallower one for children and a deeper area for adults and older children. The rooms were dated but clean, and with gorgeous views from balcony, less so from the ground floor. They are arranged in small blocks with two downstairs and two upstairs rooms per block. We had two rooms but were in different blocks despite asking to be together. Air conditioning was provided and excellent. A small kitchenette in each room with a fridge and a hob meant we could cook pasta a couple of evenings to keep costs down. We had a hire car and drove to Lidl with was 10 mins away to stock up. The onsite shop was small. Breakfast was fine- all outdoor seating which was shaded. Food laid out buffet style inside. There was ample with wasps crawling on all of the food the first few days that we were there which was off putting. I stuck to Greek yogurt for most of the week and only began braving the fruit towards the end when the wasps were more under control. We ate in the onsite restaurant a few times and it was very good, lovely atmosphere and sea view. Cost €150 for five of us including wine and cokes, so quite expensive, but they have a captive audience. All in all I would return."

"The staff is outstanding. Everybody is nice and you feel a wish to « go the extra mile ». You want something they don’t have, the find a way. Absolutely no waiting time with the buggies as the staff are so numerous. We had such a lovely time. The resort is indeed kid friendly however the « adult zones » create a bit of a weird feeling and there are not a lot of animation like some resort. You don’t go there for the animation, you go there for the extreme serenity provided by the beauty of the place. Tips: ask for a buggy tour around the hotel. You should see everything, views are outstanding!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. We were delighted to be upgraded to a sea-view bungalow, which was absolutely amazing. The room was spacious, beautifully presented, and the view was simply breathtaking. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. The food was excellent throughout our visit, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. The only minor downsides were that the beach area was quite small and there wasn’t any evening entertainment at the hotel. However, these were only small points and did not take away from what was an exceptional holiday. We would definitely return and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with outstanding service and beautiful surroundings."

Aquila Elounda Village Resort, Suites & Spa - Adults Only

"An absolutely stunning property with the most proactive, helpful and attentive staff I've ever seen at a resort. Other reviews already highlight how beautiful the resort is, so thought I'd leave specific info about accessibility, as it was a lot better than I anticipated from previous info online. My wife uses a wheelchair, although can manage short distances/a few steps. Although the resort is on a slope with multiple tiers, most of the grounds are feasible for a wheelchair; going from main reception to the bungalows, most communal grounds and the route towards the beach are all slopes. To get down to the beach and the beach bar itself, there are maybe 10 steps. Similarly, to get to the buffet restaurant, there are a few steps. If you're in a situation like us, where a wheelchair is generally needed but a few steps are manageable, don't let it put you off the resort. The staff were SO helpful and kind. They pre-emptively offered taking us on the golf cart, let us park our car next to the reception, always found ways to make trips easier and even, the night before we were set to leave, had the hotel repairman repair a loose screw on the wheelchair! I can't thank the staff enough for their support; they made us feel completely relaxed and as though we had to make no compromises even with accessibility needs. Thank you."
