1. Rockwell Ridge | Chestnut Suite with Lux Bathroom

「This property was spotlessly clean, carefully and well furnished, with clear instructions about everything. The location was peaceful and quiet, and we were treated to seeing a doe and young fawn not long after arriving. With no traffic or other noise, we had a restful stay. The host's communications were welcoming and comprehensive. While off the main roads, it is still convenient to attractions and amenities in Waynesboro. This is a perfect place to unwind; with several more rooms on the...

「The place itself was so nice. Scenic and after we replaced the batteries in two smoke alarms, very peaceful. It had plenty of dishes, pots, pans and utensils. No salt, pepper or anything like that. Also no foil or plastic wrap, etc. We were not prepared for that when we tried to cook breakfast. Every other short term rentals we’ve used in past had those type of supplies. Property definitely needs a little upkeep. That area had a lot of rain, but the grass is very long and light bulbs need...

「VRBO and the host double booked the place. After a long drive we arrived to a house full of guests who were already unpacked and very unhappy to see us. VRBO's "VRBO Care" would have had us moved from a 4 bedroom house to a hotel for one night, and then the remaining nights at a similar place nearby (but that we would need to find on our own). This was unacceptable so we asked for a full refund.」
