Within easy driving distance of Charlottesville and other small towns with shops and restaurants. Susan was responsive to our questions. Nice seating outside with plenty of rocking chairs; enjoyed my morning coffee there daily! "

"The internet is free but they do not twll you that it is extremely slow. How slow? I could not run a download speed test. Whem I raised the issue the hotel staff said that they had raised it to mamagement several times amd management did nothing. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. "

"The air in our room would not go below 76 on the window unit. The wall controller did not have batteries to try and operate it. I told the front desk and they immediately moved us to another room. At bedtime, I went to slide into bed and felt something in the bed. It was a pair of dirty socks. I then saw crumbs in the bed as well. I went to the front desk again. The lady apologized profusely and moved us rooms again. When I told the front desk at check-out the next morning, they also apologized profusely. No other form of compensation was ever offered though. "
