The villa is located right in the centre of La Caleta. This is a lovely area which is more suited to adults than children, there are numerous really nice bars and restaurants but not many that cater for youngsters. The sea is only a two minute walk, there is a beach about 10 minute walk away.
The villa itself gets mixed reviews, much of it was lovely, the outside space is great, the pool was lovely and it was spotlessly clean and well maintained, there is plenty of outdoor seating including a terrace on the upper level and a bbq which was great. The downstairs bedrooms were really nice, and the bathrooms had obviously been renovated, the bedroom on the first floor was horrible, it was like going from a four star bedroom downstairs to a two star bedroom upstairs. The upstairs bedroom was a reasonable size but had a 4’ bed which was very small for a couple, the upstairs en-suite was also very dated. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed including a washing machine which is very useful when travelling with children. The lounge area was comfortable but again quite dated. On the whole we had a good stay but would suggest the lounge and upstairs bedroom need updating.
