"Loved all the windows, and how clean & bright it is. Nice combination of knotty pine and modern appliances. Very quiet except that church bells ring all night and day - every hour and half hour. Walk out the building and you are on the nordic ski trail. Underground garage access is very nice. Can use better directions on how to find the garage access, and how to find the front door of the building to find the key. "This is a beautiful 19th century castle converted into a charming luxury hotel. The lobby & restaurants are piece of history. Rooms are renovated, bathrooms are very stylish. The staff are very polite and hard working. The breakfast buffet is delicious and dinner is fine dining a-la-carte menu with fantastic choices. The spa is very nice and the swimming pool is great. Free hotel shuttle to the ski area. Hotel offered me free room upgrade = thank you for the surprise and generosity !! I will definitely come back again !! "

"We stayed in this lovely hotel the night before our trip on the Bernina express. The hotel is in the old town of chur which is really nice with lots of historic buildings, it was about 15 mins walk to the station so perfectly placed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was from 7 the next morning but we went in just before and there were already people in there. Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast which had plenty of choice to suit everyone. The room was warm and the bed comfortable our bathroom was huge and the shower was very good. This hotel is a small hotel and has lots of character I would definitely recommend it for couples."

From check-in to check-out, everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. Outstanding service, excellent location, and a beautiful property.
