「Overall the property, or indeed, our apartment was great. Clean, and all rooms to a very good standard. Location access was and could be tricky as pavement area requires you to be vigilant to oncoming traffic as you navigate the entry gate. Fantastic views of the landscape of Funchal and 5 minutes walk down the hill you'll find a bank, local cafe/bar, local supermarket and the most beautiful of churches. 「We stayed in the studios which were compact but so comfortable, clean and well equipped with a sea view balcony too. We enjoyed the rooftop relaxing space and the spa and the hotel. It was a bonus to get passes to the pools, beach towels and dressing gowns. The included breakfast was fresh, varied and plentiful. There was nothing to fault about this place. It was our favourite out of 3 we stayed in during our holiday to Madeira. 」

「I really enjoyed my stay here! The surroundings were absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The house was very clean, the garden was well maintained, and all the facilities were perfect — everything worked just as expected. The only minor downside was that there was some construction going on nearby, so the mornings started a bit early with hammering sounds. But overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend this place!」

「Sehr ruhig gelegen und gepflegte Anlage. Sauberes Ferienhäuschen. Sehr viel Privatsphäre. Jeden Morgen werden frische Brötchen an die Türe geliefert. Alles was fürs Frühstück gebraucht wird, hat man im Zimmer oder im Kühlschrank. Bei Bedarf wird es aufgefüllt oder auf Wunsch ergänzt. Für uns war es der ideale Ausgangspunkt für unsere täglichen Touren. Der wunderschöne Ponta do Pargo Leuchtturm ist nur 8 Minuten entfernt. Sehr empfehlenswert. 」

「Communication with Manuel was smooth and easy. The location is simply gorgeous. We had the Sherry apt which has a huge balcony with direct views to the Mountains. Location is great especially if you are hiking the higher summits. Pico de Arieiro is well worth getting up early for the Sun Rise. While were there, over 80% of the people were local. Food around is very good and asfffordable」
