"The cabin was just as described. Right on the water and decorated so nicely. Beds were so comfortable. Beautiful view of George's Pond. Very cozy!! Far enough away from all the crowds of Bar Harbor ."

"The place was lovely, our only suggestion would be that if you do have a booking, if the kayaks were tied up to the dock, they would be more available. There is no easy way to get them into the pond, and being almost 70 we didn’t attempt to use them."

"We had a lovely time! Weather was perfect. I toured the lake in one of the kayaks. We enjoyed stunning night sky clarity. Saw and heard loons, great blue herons, ducks, heard owls. We explored the local trails (Frenchman Bay Conservancy has many lovely properties).The house is large, very well equipped, had everything we wanted and lots of things to do. The drive to Acadia National Park is short enough to make it ok for a few days visits.The one time we contacted the owner, he responded immediately. We love this house, and highly recommend it!"

"This is a great property with a very responsive owner. The lake is clean and the use of the kayaks and paddle boards at the property was a welcomed addition. The owner Paul was very easy to communicate with and the house was very well equipped with everything you might need. Great vacation!!"

"Place was great, a perfect little cabin on a lake. Everyone slept great, mattresses very comfortable. We had 6 guests and never felt cramped. The scenery is gorgeous. The lake was mostly calm and easy to explore with the provided kayaks.Easy 40 minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia national Park. Which are a must if you plan on staying here."
