Parking was easy and felt safe. The staff were welcoming but didn't speak English language easily. However check-in went smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and tasty.

Nice enough, I had a big room, got a good nights sleep. Only issue was that I stayed a Friday night, and needed to depart about 8AM Saturday morning. They do not offer breakfast on Saturday before 8, so I got nothing.....

Excellent location for easy access to Abingdon and Oxford park and ride. We were attending a graduation and needed an early start - breakfast is normally served at 8, but the proprietor was gracious enough to serve ours at 7:30 so that we could get into Oxford on time.

The breakfast was lovely and the room is well appointed, with filter water, good quality coffee, a large bathroom with shower over bath. The double bed is very comfortable, with durable and good quality linen, fresh towels and other extras such as a mini fridge/wine cooler.

Host requests to know check-in time so I messaged via Expedia but no reply or confirmation of this. No clear signage outside in the dark. Booked a single room, I was given the triple. Room was dirty, didn't really feel like someone has cleaned it. 4 medium-large spiders in the bathroom, 1 large spider in the bedroom. Fridge was noisy, Extractor fan sounds like it has power issues as it keeps speeding up and slowing down. Towels were very old and tatty but clean. Bedsheets were clean but stained. Dirty marks on floor, dusty floor and room in general. Old paper signs taped to the walls. Someone had stashed some rubbish from a takeaway meal in one of the drawers so clearly no one has cleaned this area. Pull chain on toilet is broken. Noisy road and other guests. Breakfast wasn't ready until 15 minutes after my ordered time. Tasted pretty low quality, including the orange juice. Staff were nice enough and helpful, just feels like a lot of room for improvement. Location was good for where I needed to be and plenty of parking.

My stay at the Abingplough was relaxing and enjoyable. The room was well appointed, comfortable with shower and large bath, additional fresh towels and wine chiller. Large wide screen LCD TV with a range of channels. The hotel offered veggie options for breakfast and had excellent coffee.

The room was spotless, heating on prior to arrival. I was offered an upgrade on the room which was a nice gesture. The bathroom was clean and had extra towels, the TV has a good selection of free to view and stresming options. A cooked breakfast was also included.

Very quirky 600 year old thatched building. We had a large room for 3 of us and a lovely big bathroom with a huge shower cubicle and a bath. The bed was very comfortanle and we slept well even though the building is on a busy road. If you only like 5* hotels, this is not for you! There was ample parking.
