The room was good-looking and very comfortable. The bathroom was the nicest of all the hotels we stayed in that week, and included heated floors. Service was excellent. The grounds of the hotel are lovely - they have black Highland cattle and deer and of course the beautiful golf course, which we walked out to for the views. We chose this property for its proximity to the Highland Games we were attending. The property looked nice on the website, and we saw that it had a restaurant, but everything about it exceeded our expectations! Great place to stay ! Quiet. Excellent restaurant. no issues with parking. The best part was the staff. They were warm and helpful. The views from the room of the farm and animals made our day. Two days of a very memorable stay.

We have been coming back to Saplinbrea for a number of years. The staff and the food are excellent. The whole hotel has great ambiance, and provides a wonderful experience. Only negative is that carpeting in corridors is a little tired.

We’ve been to Scotland three times, and this is the most wonderful place we’ve ever stayed! We were in Heaven. When Americans think of the Higjlands, this is what we envision.

The hotel was very clean. All staff members that we were in contact were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with lots of options (eggs (scrambled and boiled), bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt (with toppings), cheeses, pastries, juice, and coffee. We enjoy staying here and will stay here again when we return. The location is great as well.

My favorite hotel in Scotland. Consistent excellent standards in hospitality, comfort, and food. Only negative is the decor in most of the public areas is starting to look tired.
