"This beautiful cottage was the perfect place for our trip to Hawke’s Bay! Close to town, yet peaceful and serene in a picturesque setting. The house was stocked with everything we needed, plus so many thoughtful touches. We loved the homemade goodies as well. Julie was an amazing host, highly recommend!"

"We arrived around 11am, although check-in wasn’t until 2pm, just to let reception know that I’d be working late and my husband would be checking in later. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Even though the room wasn’t quite ready, he gave us the key so we could leave our luggage and said it would be ready by the time my husband returned around 1pm. He was also very helpful when my husband needed assistance with the TV - great service and someone who clearly goes above and beyond. The room was very spacious. There was some road noise with the windows open, but it quietened down by about 10pm and wasn’t an issue overnight. The motel is also within walking distance of supermarkets and a few places to eat, which was very convenient. A great spot for a stay. 😊"

"Great accommodation experience! The reception staff were very friendly. The room was a bit old but clean, and it was well-equipped, allowing for simple cooking. The only unexpected issue was accidentally triggering the smoke alarm while boiling water."
