"The owners of the home were very kind and communicative. There were some issues I noticed when our party arrived, so I messaged the hosts to let them know about them, so that we would not be charged for the issues. They offered to send someone to fix the issues (a faulty door knob, and a slightly leaky toilet) We were there, so I said it would be fine. The homeowners came by to try and fix the doorknob, were unable to do so, and put paper towels in the hole. They said someone would be by the next day to fix the toilet (the day we checked out) At 7:30 AM, the next day(the day we checked out) two men banged on the door until I opened it. I was there with another female friend and my young daughter. I didn’t feel comfortable letting them come in, but they said they were sent by the homeowner to fix the toilet issue. I felt this was very unnecessary and could have waited until we checked out at 11:00."

"My siblings and I plan a trip every year in May to celebrate my birthday. We have family in Eufaula and wanted to spend time with them. Our stay was May 25th thru the 29th. The place in Abbeyville was perfect for our trip. The place was small but very spacious. It was secluded which is what I was looking for. The place was very clean. The lake is a nice walk located down a pathway in the back of the house. The deck is fenced in so it was good for late night sitting. Would recommend and would definitely return for another visit."

Beautiful Waterfront Getaway w/ Dock!

"Home was beautiful with a fantastic view, but there were ants int the kitchen and in two bathrooms. We contacted the host, but never got a response. We found some spray and used it most of the time we were there.One bathroom had only a half roll of toilet paper, so we bought some more. There was one pod for the dishwasher to last 5 days, so we bought some more. There was also a shortage of flatware. With two towels for 5 days, we had to wash linens.The beds were very comfortable, AC worked well. The house is very beautiful, but the outside is neglected as there were ants, spiders, and other insects on exterior walls and on the porch. We enjoyed our time together, but we were disappointed in the property."
