La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New York City Central Park
8/10 Good
"the breakfast was great to just have something in your system before going out. im afraid i dont remember the girl’s name but one of the ladies at the front desk was super nice and super helpful and helped suggest some places my boyfriend and i could go try. the rooms were nice and cold just how i like it but the bathroom didn’t have a fan. we had a full bed room. our view was nice though!"
"I enjoyed my stay!! The convenience to France central station is top notch. Special shout out to Alex Berlin!! He was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. I also want to thank all of the other staff members that I encountered from the front desk to the bar to housekeeping!! I appreciate your hospitality and will return on my next trip back home!!"
"It's a great location, right across from Lincoln Center. Plenty of great places right nearby to eat at. Subway station is close.
The hotel lobby is great. Beautiful designs and spacious.
The rooms could be cleaner. The walls needed paint.
Staff was extra helpful and nice.
Pool hours not listed on the stairs so we got to the top and had no clue where to go or if or when it opened.
Rooftop bar was great. The Gossip girl theme is perfect."
"This place is a hidden gem, steps away from time square, multiple subway routes. These rooms are for solo or couples who don't mind being in close proximity of one another in the room but it gets the job done if you don't plan on being in the hotel much."
"The hotel is in an elegant brownstone building but it shows its age. Our room is roomy by New York standard. However, upon check-in we found there was no shower curtain. The phone in the room had no dial tone to the front desk. It required a trip to go downstairs to request a shower curtain to be delivered and installed. The king-size bed was comfortable. The bathtub has safety bar but no anti-slippery mat, which could be risky for seniors. The front desk counter has a lemon-infused iced water jar, which was nice when coming back from a hot day's sightseeing. The two old elevators were slow that required patience. Location-wise, it's one block from the 79th St. station on line 1 subway, one block away from the Natural History Museum and close to the Central Park. Nearby there are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. Overall it's a hotel I would recommend."
