「Lovely comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast was great and the staff were all really friendly, informative and welcoming. Feel it is a little overpriced but Pitlochry itself is pretty pricey. It is a steep walk back up the hill from Pitlochry if you have walking difficulties. We would probably stay again though. 」

「Beautifully renovated main dining area and bar. Lovely food and drink. Unfortunately seemed a bit short-staffed the evening we dined and service was quite slow. Ran out of orange juice both mornings for breakfast. Room comfortable and spacious-quirks included non-functional telephone and safe. Would return and recommend to others. Perhaps just a bit more attention to detail (dead plants in hanging basket outside lodge rooms) for a 5-star rating.」

「Run don't walk and book Poplars, it was a lovely stay! Nancy welcomed us like long lost friends and made us feel at home. A beautiful property, we stayed on the top floor overlooking the mountains and rooftops of Pitlochry. So many personal touches and the property is immaculate. The guest lounge is warm and inviting too! Our stay was perfect. Breakfast was wonderful and make sure you try the porridge with whiskey! Run, don't walk.. a glorious guest house stay.」

「Stables 5 .Lovely cottage in a restored Steading set back from the road and close to the river Tay. Modern and very well appointed, with a small garden for dogs, warm and traditional - contemporary decoration with a french country feel. Wonderful bathroom and extremely comfortable bed. In fact, perfect for us.」

「Lovely old clean well maintained house set in a gorgeous garden. Run by nice people who served me a really nice cooked breakfast. Only downside was the shared bathroom although it was clean, well kept and not too busy.」

「Grounds are lovely. When checking out, there was a 15-20 minute wait at reception. Need more staff. The lodge itself was spacious however upon entry there was multiple wasps & bugs are around the property. Cob webs on ceiling in spare room. Requires a good proper clean.」
