「Lovely building, well appointed. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Staff were impeccable and food was top notch. I rarely say this, but would stay again. My only gripe were the squeaky floors but given the age of the place was just character.」

「It’s a nice hotel in need of some investment. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice, but the restaurant was unbearably hot, air conditioning is required or at the least the ability to open windows for fresh air. Thank goodness there was a conservatory where you could have dinner. 」

「Its a contactless hotel meaming you get an entry code around an hour prior to arrival. We didn't get this and despite using contact details for the hotel we got no response. When we contacted hotels.com they managed to get us sorted and someone contacted us and apologised. I admit we got a free suite upgrade, however when we went to leave our room the keypad lock wouldn't stop the door from just opening so in theory anyone could walk in.
