The Quest Albany is a great hotel for a longer stay. I went to go fishing with a colleague and was suggested the Hotel as it was in close proximity to the house he was staying in with family. Although the hotel does not offer room service or a restaurant, it has really good restaurants just adjacent within a 30 seconds walk. The Albany Bakery and Cafe is excellent. Don't miss out on the French Toast there. It is to die for. There are also Thai, Indian and other bakeries and restaurants there. I...

The front desk staff was fantastic. Liani in particular was exceptional. She assisted us on numerous occasions throughout our staff and even assisted with making sure we were able to get the best rate that was appropriate for our stay and our group. Her customer service skills were second to none. I believe she was from South America (possibly Chili). Wherever she's from, the quality of her training and upbringing really showed through. If we are ever in the Auckland/Albany area of the world we...

The Korean BBQ restaurant next door was a pleasant surprise

I arrived after hours and the key retrieval was easy. During the stay the room was cleaned very well and the staff was always friendly and accomdating.

Great room, spotlessly clean, fresh cup of hot tea brought to my room on arrival. Great little town square area of restaurants and pubs just a 2 minutes drive down the street. Would stay again with no hesitation.

The location was perfect!! Everything about it was great!

Retro style decor which is refreshingly unique. Very close to the harbor, Maritime Museum, Queen's Wharf, and shopping. Only negative is lack of convenient spaces for suitcases.

We had a lovely stay. Michael was so friendly, our room was absolutely gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. Despite not technically having breakfast included, there was a very nice communal full kitchen and a great selection of toast, cereals, spreads, and milk available for all, as well a nice espresso machine. Very conveniently located near the Remuera train station. The gazebo/sun-room was absolutely gorgeous in the mornings. We felt very at home!

Great hotel in the center of the business district. Can walk to sky tower, harbor, war Memorial Museum.

We had a wonderful stay and the front desk staff were amazing and helpful

Great place to stay, with easy beach access. My family (2 adults, 4 kids) all loved it. Clean, comfortable and nice!

2 bed suite was perfect for our family of 4. Great views of the city. Awesome location and within minutes walking distance to many amenities: supermarket, cafes/restaurants, library, indoor entertainment centre, mall etc. Clean, comfortable, quiet, well resourced mini kitchen area and full sized fridge freezer. Washing and drying facilities in apartment. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend for other families.

Ray met us for check-in and gave us an overview of the property as well as great things to see on the island. Super nice guy and a really charming property. Bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen had a complementary list of resources, including water and juice in the fridge and a bottle of wine to welcome us. Beach towels were provided and the location is within a few minutes walk to the bus terminals which will allow for easy access throughout the island. Blackout shades provide great...

The property was very clean but the standout reason I would go there again is the staff. We had a small issue with breakfast one morning and they went above and beyond to rectify it. They were kind enough to get us a van for our ride back to the airport and when my son accidentally left his wallet in the van, I called the hotel. They were able to reach (by some means) the driver who returned to the airport with the wallet. Every member of the staff ensured that our stay was memorable.

Great hotel to stay. There is not porter or concierge service. Otherwise is a great place to stay.

Selected "The Emerald Inn" via internet and it was everything and more than we expected. We spent a week there and it was just what we wanted and needed. The room was very clean and had more than what we expected - range, dishes, etc. It was within easy walking distance of a gorgeous beach, a fantastic restaurant - The Cafe and Bakery. We chose not to rent a car and where able to explore Auckland via bus and ferry as well as other sites. Transportation system makes it easy to get around. ...

Exactly as shown in the photos. Clean and spacious. I loved the balcony for morning coffee and for evening dinners. We had an amazing view from the 10th floor. I loved the big kitchen. Two grocery stores and the beach very close by. We had the One plus one apartment.

Our stay at SkyCity Hotel was phenomenal! We arrived hours before our check-in, but luckily there was a room that was readily available that they were able to give us. We were able to leave our luggage with the concierge while we went to a breakfast spot across the street that they had recommended. Great location for shopping and food options. We didn’t rent a car, but a lot of places were within walking distance. Absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely stay again!

Excellent location. Staff extremely helpful, courteous, and went out of their way to help us find public transport suitable to our needs. The room was spacious and quite. There is a lot of construction around the hotel, which complicates traffic. Tons of restaurants within wañking distance. Would stay again.

I love that the location was central to everything I needed. The hotel staff were extremely friendly. Everything was clean. The neighborhood was safe and local transportation was easily accessible.
