「Tulbagh is a great base to stay for a few days and Mountain Manor is the best accommodation you could hope for. A short drive from the lovely little town with great restaurants and wine farms. Stunning scenery and hiking trails. 」

「All good except the breakfast. It is not on site you get a voucher to go elsewhere. With the Covid I thought this was not right as we weren't informed of this beforehand. We specifically chose a place that included breakfast so that we did not have to go out in Beaufort West. We had to take a takeaway breakfast delivered to us from the place called 4 Sheep and it was disgusting and cold. If you stay there DO NOT include breakfast. 」

「Durch die vielen gemischten Bewertungen waren wir etwas skeptisch. Aber das war unbegründet, denn Karoo 1 ist fantastisch und hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Anlage ist in hervorragendem Zustand, Räume und Badezimmer sind großzügig gestaltet, geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die vielen Skulpturen auf dem ganzen Gelände und die Gemälde sorgen für eine besondere Atmosphäre. Die Ruhe und auch der Felsenpool tragen zur Entspannung bei. 「A historic hotel well kept and with a lot of charm in a nice little village. The room is small is not very big but with antique furniture, bathroom is renewed. Location in the best part of main street, with a great restaurant across.」
