「Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Lounge area was lovely and if it had soft music playing would have been even better. This hotel is not for people who have difficulty with slopes or steps as it’s on the top of a hill and a fair walk from anything. The hotel rooms (we had a sea view room) are tired and need painting and mould and mildew spraying in the bathroom. The bed was comfy and the bedding and towels clean and soft. 「This was a special booking for us. My mum got married here nearly 30 years ago. Due to ill health; this is their last time being able to get to the hotel. So we decided to surprise them with staying for the night…they thought they were just going for lunch. I reached out to the hotel to explain the situation & from the get go; they were exceptional with their support in making it a memorable experience. Nothing was too much trouble. We were kindly gifted room upgrades to make it extra special....
