「Super belle expérience. Pas trop loin de la civilisation et Rio Celeste (15 minutes) pour une tranquillité parfaite. Les douches sont superbes et il y a tout pour cuisiner et passer un bon moment en famille. Le chemin d'accès est très abrupte et nécessite un 4x4 ou SUV, nous avons eu une crevaison.」

「Very friendly and helpful staff. They only speak Spanish but we were easily able to communicate using google translate. She was very kind and helped us find a place to eat dinner. The rooms are very clean!」

「This place is a hidden gem! The rustic cabins are well maintained and clean. A short walk from the cabin and you arrive at the restaurant where the food is amazing and reasonably priced. The hosts were so nice and helpful, making suggestions for our hikes and other options for dinner (although we ate on site 4 times it was so good). Our kids miss Lucky and Domino and wanted to take the puppies home :-) I would definitely recommend!」

「The host is wonderful and accommodating 」

「Beautiful, serene property. Very nice host and hostess. Loved the waterfall hike. It was the highlight of our trip. We were there by ourselves and could swim. If you’re into exploring and not a resort travel style this place is fabulous. We came here from JW in Guanacaste and loved this more than the resort. Clean and comfy. Breakfast was delicious and tastefully served. Be mindful of the hike though. Not super easy. Hiking shoes , poles and certainly water shoes, towel, and water are a must. 」

「Love this place! A little out of the way, so it's quiet and lots of wildlife to see. Ernesto and Leslie are great hosts, and the staff is helpful. The food is wonderful too. 」

「We really loved the location and staff at this hotel - the view is BEAUTIFUL over-looking the lake and was the highlight of the hotel and they've created cute decks in front of each room which are nice to relax on. The rooms and beds are fine but we did have bugs (including a cockroach) in the room. I understand this is sometimes common in Costa Rica so we try to be understanding about that, but it did poorly impact our night's sleep. Ultimately, we were happy we chose to stay at the lake...

「A great choice in this area for a budget property. Room was very clean, staff was friendly. We were entertained in the morning by a troop of Capuchin Monkeys while eating the included breakfast.」

「i hope people use this hotel as it appears to be a mum and her daughter making a go of it - and though quirky it is an ok experience. What is a problem is - its in the middle of nowhere and expedia sent me the wrong name. You told me it was called (unusually )HOTEL IN FRONT OF LAKE ARENAL. And it was 15 miles from LA FORTUNA. After driving 45 minutes a kindly restaurant owner called the lady and gave me directions. I would still be looking now - its called LAKE 2 and even that is poorly signed....

Par conséquent nous sommes arrivés devant un hôtel fermé. C’est la première fois qu’une telle erreur se produit pour nous sur hotels.com dont nous sommes pourtant des utilisateurs réguliers 」
