「I enjoyed my stay so much at Crecia that I chose it again when I returned to Ambon on the same trip for more diving. Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful, the common areas are clean, drinking water is provided in a big cooler so you can avoid using plastic, and there is a convenience store next door. The chef cooked me a small simple breakfast of toast (in his beloved panini press) and egg with coffee, which was perfect for me. On my first stay, I was in one of larger rooms...

「The hotel is clean and pretty centrally located. Staff have limited English but are very eager to help with any issue. I have left bags here twice as I have travelled around Maluku, using Ambon as a base. A plus is that there’s a supermarket and a cafe on the first floor of the hotel. Only complaint: the air conditioning is feeble and could use an upgrade. 」

「The property owner Ifron was extremely helpful and kind. He helps with arrangements, taxis, snorkeling trips and meals. Ora Sunrise is remote but the adventure via boat and car is worth it. The surrounding landscape of steep rock cliffs, jungle, white sand beaches are amazing. If you go take the snorkeling boat trips. Beautiful coral and fish. 「A piece of paradise that feels like you have a beach all to yourself! The family who run the resort do all that they can to make you feel at home I would add a couple cautions due to its remote location: - There is limited plumbing (no flushing toilet) and no wifi (we were able to get a weak signal and used our own data) - everything we ate was fresh, delicious and local but this means a lot of fish, rice, greens and eggs. Every night it was cooked differently and we loved every meal, but...

「This very simple (and unexpensive) hotel is conveniently located near the University. The room has basic facilities. The place is along the road to airport and a bit noisy on day, but quiet at night - no flight then. When I was there wifi was not operating and I had to get a mobile router. The people (owner and night watchers) are welcoming and do their best to help. 」

「Initially I could not find the accomodation, as no address was provided. With a small description on the expedia website and asking around in the village I was able find it. There is not even a sign outside the building indicating where the homestay is located. A bad start. The owners seemed a bit lost when I wanted to check in, and were not aware of my reservation and payment. Luckily they gave me a room nonetheless, but didn't ask for amy identification or booking confirmation. There is NO...
