「I booked thru this site on November 15th for Barana hotel and when I got there I was told that I was the 3rd person that day that showed up with our reservation and there was no reservation booked with the hotel. The hotel has no information of the booking. He then asked me to pay him directly for a room that night. He also mentioned that the hotel do not have any business with hotels.com. I would like my 81$ back please and thank you. 」

「We loved Hopkins and especially staying in the pink cabana on the beach close by to everything. Our hosts were amazing. We only wish we could have stayed longer! 」

「This cabana was fantastic! It was a nice size and in a lovely rural area. We enjoyed the sounds of birds and monkeys, and really enjoyed the peaceful setting. There were a lot of bugs (the porch is only partially screened, so plan to get bitten inside and out (even with a lot of bug spray). Otherwise, we loved it!」

「Wonderful private cabana on ocean with great access to everything you want to doin Belize. Waterfalls, kayaking,swimming and relaxing. Hosts Steve and Jean are a fountain of info on the area. Great view, hot water and sleeping. Restaurants fabulous!!」

「Stayed 4 nights. Feb 2026 Great location! Convenient to everything. 2-3 minute walk to the beach, the pier, and lots of restaurants and shops. Even more within 10-15 minutes. Free parking available a block away. Friendly staff. Spacious unit. Comfortable beds. Excellent rooftop patio is fun to eat outside or watch the sunset. Placencia has a very cool vibe. Fun fact: there are no parking meters or traffic lights. Really easy to see why you might want to retire here. 」
