「The room was pleasant and always clean for us after a long day. Breakfast was always on the table before we showed up to the table. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A 10 min walk away from the Plaza de Armas, quite place if you like to stay away from the noise. 」

「We spent three nights at Katari hotel in Arequipa (May 2026). You can't beat the location, right on the central plaza! They serve a very nice breakfast (made to order) on the open-air terrace overlooking the Plaza de Armas. It was so peaceful and lovely. We also had drinks at sunset from the same terrace. Loved it! The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable and the shower had good pressure and hot water (although there was one day when it was not as hot). From the hotel...

「Creo que deberían hacer algo con el exterior, no es bonito que hayan personas bebiendo licor en la calle. Es preferible elegir habitación hacia adentro. Por lo demás, todo está bien, por lo que hace frío debería existir la.opcion de una pequeña estufa.」

「Clean room. Near restaurants and many tourist places. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. However, there are no elevators which is a huge inconvenience for elderly and people with mobility impaired. Otherwise great location. 」

「This is the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Peru. Super location!!! Super building with a lot of character and super staff!!! We had to leave one day at 2:50 am and as we were exiting, a gentleman at the counter saw us leaving and asked us to wait a couple of minutes. He returned with two bags for breakfast to go. This was a great touch! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great place to stay, right at the center of Arequipa.」
