「Really beautiful hotel. Decor some of the best I’ve seen for a hotel, beautiful and stylish. The spa area was small but gorgeous. Staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. Didn’t give full marks because - additional payment for outdoor pool (!£25) seems a bit money grabbing on top of the room rate. - related to this limited hours in spa for people staying at hotel detracted from experience - no gym. Found that a bit odd for a place otherwise set up for wellness . Just...

「Bright, clean and spacious room. Located right off the highway but in a lovely green space hidden away. The room was big with a large ensuite. It is a little dated but perfectly kept and clean and absolutely everything you could need - even an iron. Slept really well which is what you need when travelling. I would definitely stay here again. 」

「I have stayed here twice before. The welcome from Lyndon is great. The breakfast is freshly cooked and plenty of it. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom was clean. However the wardrobe was in need of repair and the fridge had old food in it. The bedside cabinets had a layer of dust but I base my review on comfort and hospitality 」

「Stayed in cabin 3, and despite reading some recent negative reviews, we were very happy with the room. It was clean, well stocked and the view over the lake in the morning was amazing. Breakfast was very nice and had lots of variety. Our only small gripe was the beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Mattresses are subjective and we were only there 1 night. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay there again. It’s also only 25 minutes from Cardiff centre. 」

「We really enjoyed our two night stay at the Old Post House. Exceptional accommodation, a beautiful large room with comfy beds, tea, coffee, biscuits and water provided. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice and very friendly hosts. The property is in a lovely village spot on the outskirts of Cardiff and we would have liked to stay longer to explore more. Would definitely stay here again when in the area!!」

「The property is in a great location, close to lots of cafes and restaurants, close to the city Centre. There’s plenty of free parking outside. The rooms are very clean and have everything you require. Clive, the host, is very warm and friendly. The fridge was freezing the food The second we couldn’t close the freezer The are giving only one roll of toilette paper for a family of 4 The main door of the building is not locked so every one can get inside check out time is 1100 so why the cleaning man arrives at 1030 The location is great 」
