「Sofa looked old, so unsure about how clean it actually was. Same concern about the rugs. The bathroom vanity is small. Very little room to place toothbrush and toothpaste, let alone makeup and hair accessories. Appeared to be black mold on bathroom wall, so no place to hang shower towels. Two lightbulbs out in the bedroom ceiling fan. Kitchen cabinetry was in disarray. TV way to small. Wall air conditioner does not cool into the bedroom. It only cools the open living/kitchen area. 「This was our first trip to 1927 Lake Lure Hotel but not the last I hope. Staff was excellent and so helpful. The room was very clean. The whole property is so pretty and the antiques are a very nice touch in the lobby as well as on every landing. The only thing I would add is to have restaurant open we would have rather to have eaten there. Hope to come back with my best friends for a girl trip soon. 」

「Very spacious. It was great luxury to have 2 bedrooms, a living room and even a loft sitting room. The kitchen is well stocked. You don't have to worry about getting dishwasher detergent or coffee filters. My children enjoyed using the spa bath. Great screened porch that we didn't use because of the temperature. The downsides to this stay are poor wifi and channels are not extensive. A lot of backroads to get there meant quite a travel time to Asheville.」
