「Location and ocean view was FANTASTIC. While it's not a 5-star/ $1000 per night hotel, it has everything you would need/ expect from an excellent beach house. We were only a group of 2, but the house easily could accommodate 6 people. Great jumping off point to see sites on this side of the island (Hilo, Volcano, towns that existed a few years ago but then were taken by lava). Don't miss Uncle Robert's on Wednesday night with other locals. It was a great time. Also, the Lava Flow museum in Pahoa...

「The house was spacious and over nice. One room had mold and could not be slept in due to the smell. They had a dehumidifier in the room, but did not eliminate the smell.. The house was mostly clean, but could use a little extra cleaning, bathrooms and kitchen especially.The owner is very nice and very good with communication. 「From the first day we booked to the day that we left, we received almost immediate responses to every question we asked. As usual, there were a couple of arrival difficulties, but the host quickly took care of those. The house is beautiful. We were able to walk to the point and watch the waves and even some whales. 「The location is simply fabulous. You walk out the back patio on grass and then black volcanic rock to the edge of the ocean surf. From the house, we delighted in exploring the network of roads and trails in the Pahoa district south of Hilo. Not to be missed is Uncle Robert's community music and food festival every Wednesday evening. In Hilo, the Pacific Tsunami Museum and the Lyman Museum are outstanding as well as the Hawaiian Tropical and Botanical Gardens, Akaka Falls and the Waipio Valley...

「Our family of 6 stayed there for a week. Our main focus on the trip was exploring the nature so the location was perfect. Equal distance to both the national park and Mauna Kea, and being not so far from the airport was very ideal. Howard’s place was so comfortable that we decided to just enjoy the place playing pool and relaxing in the yard. Howard was so easy to communicate with too. Thank you Howard for such a nice place and some background story of the house!」
