「What a great location, thats it. The appartment could be some much better. It was clean but damage to walls, pictures propped up on the floor, bulbs missing from lamp, sofa in lounge disgusting and dirty, no tv remote and worse of all it absolutely stunk of cannabis all night and no way of removing the smell as no air conditioning. 「Pre check in email was very useful about how to find the nearest car park, but missed the part about not being able to book the parking for more than 24 hours so you have to sit for your current session to expire before paying again. Check out time was incorrect stating 1100 when booking email stated by noon. I reply to confirm but didn’t hear back from property. 「Stayed for one night for a catch up with friends and a visit to Cheshire Oaks. Very well located to the outlet stores and also to the centre of Chester for food and drinks in the evening. The property was good value for a one night stay, not the comfiest place we've stayed but had everything we needed for the night. 「Fantastic apartment in a great location for visiting Chester. Parking is located a bit away from the property and can be a bit difficult to find but only a minor thing. Everything else was really good including the communications from the owner. Highly recommend. 」

「The property was decorated to a high standard based on the area of Chester, located in a quiet area with own parking spot and an easy walk into Chester. I had to contact the owner prior to arriving and he couldnt have been more helpful and responsive. Chester is a beautiful area and i would definately stay at the Roman retreat when we return 」

「The apartment was in a lovely place with a view over the river Dee. Within walking distance of all the places we wanted to see. Also close to the hop on off bus. It was ideal for us as we were able to have 6 single beds which can be hard to find. The apartment was clean and well equipped. We all really enjoyed our relaxing stay」
