「Having your own cabin is really nice. The kitchen was cute. The bathroom could use some updating. The shower stall didn’t have a light which made it very dark. The room also needed a new bed. The one was really old, but still had some comfort. 」

The hosts have provided comforts that you find in high end hotels - towels and bedding are amazing along with the goat milk toiletries (my favorite brand) Beautiful neighborhood and surroundings with roses and a water feature. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed.」

「We had a fantastic time! It is a green oasis in the city close to all attractions! We had a wonderful gas fireplace which came in handy since it got down to the 30’s during our stay. Great comfortable bed! The hosts were extremely attentive and we received sparkling wine and even a birthday cake!! We will be going back in the future !」

「My sister and I stayed at this place shortly after my Husband died in 2021. It is the perfect size for 2 - 3 people or even 4 if you don’t mind just one bathroom and sharing beds. We came back with a friend to celebrate her granddaughter’s high school graduation with a small family dinner and games.」

「My partner and I really enjoyed staying at this place for the 2 nights we are in town. Has amazing views and wild life all over. Wild turkeys and cute little bears and racoons (: Highly recommend. Only issue I had that was more of a personal problem because of my height (I'm 6'6") is that I couldn't fit in either beds (they're full size) so if you are tall like me, I'd recommend bringing an airmatress, or what I did was just take out the couch bed and put the cushions together and sleep on them.」

「We were only here for a short time and mainly just needed a place to sleep. The hot tub and location attracted us and was exactly what we needed during our stay. Location was perfect for getting downtown, and the hot tub was working and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and was very clean. The house is right next to a really great restaurant that we walked to for dinner and loved. Our only negative was that both beds were very uncomfortable and did not feel clean....

「My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The house was convenient to everything in Hot Springs and to several hikes we planned to do, but it was also quiet and peaceful. The property owner Deb was very helpful and proactive in her communication and offered lots of advice on things to do in the area. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.」

「My communication with Carl and Terri prior to and during our stay always resulted in a prompt reply. The TV was tricky to operate, directions would have helped. Location was ideal, easy to walk to downtown. We tried a few restaurants on the list of recommendations and they were very good. We would recommend the cozy cottage to others!」

「Very happy with our stay. Nice view from the deck. Clean rental. Good host communication. Fair price. A few tips for future renters: the driveway is steep and not easy to find, but any car can make it. Take your time on Fox Den, there are some large pot-holes near the bottom of the hill. The rental is on the second level. We did not see any bears. The house is in a very quiet spot in the woods, but a short drive to downtown Asheville. Perfect combination for a peaceful weekend.」

「Beautiful neighborhood close to everything. Well appointed home! Quiet and comfortable. Would suggest a few blinds on windows in main living area as homes are close together and did not feel comfortable for privacy purposes. No soap for bathing or dishwashing items where available upon arrival. Just went to store to purchase. Shower stopped working in 2nd bathroom but tub was available. Did not call maintenance for this. Had problems getting temperature comfortable due to high tec thermostat....
