Skokholm Island Ski Vacations

The room was comfortable and a really good size. The hotel is a short walk to the city centre and the castle. I booked the hotel specifically for the spa facilities, however, the steam room was out of order for entire duration of my stay. I did make good use though of the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The gym is probably the best gym facilities I've seen in a hotel with a whole floor for weights (to work every muclscle group you can think of) and an upper floor of all the cardio machines. It was also nicely air conditioned. The staff provided good recommendations, however, when I enquired about late check out rather than being told this was not possible, they informed me the hotel was fully booked (which is was not as there was availability showing). I would have preferred candor in being told the truth rather than making up a false reason. The hotel has a scheme to opt out of room cleaning for short stays which was incentivised with 10% of my meal on the last night.

Lovely welcome from the check in staff very polite and helpful. Room lovely clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant staff very polite and welcoming.had breakfast which was delicious lots of variety. Will definitely be booking to stay again.
