Summary: Incredible staff went above and beyond. They just about overcame the issues related to the renovations beginning and being needed for the room in which we stayed. The lobby has already been completed, and looks excellent. I would stay here again after the rooms have been renovated. The rooms are huge by NYC standards and the views are excellent (three bridges!). Details: On top of the rooms being at the end of their natural life, the bathtub and shower valves did not seem to work properly in our room. We could not get any cold water, so the water was just crazy hot. I did take a way too hot bath the first night (after letting it cool for a bit) because it was too late to call for assistance (I was too tired). The next day, my husband found the same issue with the shower, which made our request all the more helpful. After the engineer showed us that you need to use your entire body weight and strength to get the cold water to work, we were able to shower and use the bathtub. The front desk brought us a bottle of wine up to the room to apologize. They had also helped us get an earlier check-in time so my husband could be settled for his 4 pm meeting on our first day, AND they remembered our names when we came and went. Truly exceptional service. I am hoping the bar downstairs will have decaf coffee in the future as they get settled. I was disappointed that they did not have this in the evening nor an espresso machine to make decaf espresso.

Our first night the tv did not work, no matter what we tried. So the second night when it still didn't work we called the desk for help and a service person came. It didn't work after he left so we called again. Second time didn't work after he left, also third time. So at that point we were pretty tired and disappointed, and felt that since TV was one of Club Quarters' amenities, we should get a refund because we couldn't get TV. Let us know. Also, second problem was the bathroom door was noisy no matter how we moved it - needs to be fixed. Thank you. pe moody

I liked it all, it's gorgeous with every detail taken care of. The outdoor garden was such a beautiful retreat from the city. The rooftop was such a pleasure.

Second time staying at this hotel and it was a great experience. The hotel staff were always helpful and were accommodating towards our needs. They have a convenient method of text communication between staff / guests, which is direct and easy for guests to use! Central area in SoHo, and on the same street of the famous Katz deli! It was a great hotel in walking distance of everything. Pool was not open for guests to use, but they were in the process of setting it up (could be open by late next week I’d assume). Overall 10/10 stay! - Natalie
