I stayed during Pitt parent weekend. Everything went well except for when I checked in. The receptionist didn’t explain the valet very well and I ended up paying more than she stated. Besides this one situation, I would recommend anyone visiting Pittsburgh to stay here.

Good value. The room was clean and the facility is a bit dated, but customer service was decent. We could park right in front of the entrance, and it’s within walking distance to many decent restaurants.

Clean Room...Housekeeping was receptive and prompt to requests...Coffee Bar was handy...6th street Hotel front felt very safe but Fort Duque Blvd side was a little dicey...Security on that side at night would be nice...
